Have you tried accessing it through ADB? Can the latest build be used as a daily driver? Can you make hangouts calls?

    Post [ROM] [5.0.2] CyanogenMod 12

Officially? Never. But I have been running ART for the last 6+ months with no issues. The key is the apply is when you first clean flash and boot up, before you do anything. Also, reboot immediately (the prompt should take care of that). On a different note, how can you upgrade your baseband...

    Post [ROM][AOSPA:Android 4.4.4] Paranoidandroid 4.6 BETA 3

Thanks for the update deedwar! Also, I really appreciate you looking into a solution for the Hangouts microphone. Is it possible that'll be in the next update? Could we see it in your CM11 sooner? Thanks for the hard work!

    Post [ROM][ACRO S][UB][Linaro][KitKat]Carbon Rom[4.4.4]

**** - was really hoping this would be fixed: Guys, I'm having trouble with calls: Every one has been randomly dropped, but also the phone just seems to turn off, sleep-of-death style. While I'm using the conservative governor, my minimum frequency is 384, and I've never had a problem. Any...

    Post [ROM][ACRO S][UB][Linaro][KitKat]Carbon Rom[4.4.4]

Is this attributed to the external storage issue that's plagued custom Acro S ROMs since forever, or something new? Also, (assuming you're on the latest version) are there any other detectable bugs? How well does the camera/video chatting work? OP/dev: What's the reasoning behind disabling...

    Post [ROM][ACRO S][UB][Linaro][KitKat]Carbon Rom[4.4.4]

Can anybody debunk the audio (beeping) problems? Maybe they didn't properly flash the boot.img? Or can anybody confirm that the fix abcdjdj linked works? Also, what effect does disabling mpdecision have on performance/battery life?

    Post [ROM][AOSPA:Android 4.4.4] Paranoidandroid 4.6 BETA 3

Did you flash the proper boot.img? I think I'm on your same version (if I understand correctly) and have experienced nothing but speed, stability, and great battery life. I've even got ART working

I went ahead and found/flashed this last night. Smooth is at a 6/10 (hopefully 8/10 with some tweaking), and the battery sensor is still ****ed. Has there ever been a fix for this? *Boot.img was flashed and kernel version reads as Evolve-1.4 fyi

It's not just you. I text a 5-digit number to get my balance from my bank. Exact same thing happens (found this out last night on the way to the store). Post [ROM]Beanstalk 4.4.255 3/15/14) HALO&DarkStalk

I have not experienced this, but heard about it in other KK threads. What is your hboot? What recovery are you running? Some have reported issues with TWRP, though I am on 2.6.3.0 (iirc...NOT the latest) and have not had any issues

    Post [ROM]Beanstalk 4.4.255 3/15/14) HALO&DarkStalk

Are you having the issue some of us are describing? Does WLD shed any light on the matter? (Either truly reveals what wakelock is the culprit or confirms that this is a false reporting issue?)

    Post [ROM]Beanstalk 4.4.255 3/15/14) HALO&DarkStalk

That's pretty wild. I think we're on the same page expertise-wise (I don't have enough to get too technical about false-reporting) and your input leads me to believe something is getting tripped and causing a (hopefully/seemingly harmless) glitch. Have you been using a nitty gritty battery/cpu...

Intriguing. So it basically went away? I'll be keeping track of the drain (% per hour) in BBS to see if it changes/maintains a 'normal' trajectory. Seriously hoping it's false reporting. Is there any way to test this further and, if possible, rectify it? thanks for the input

    Post [ROM]Beanstalk 4.4.255 3/15/14) HALO&DarkStalk

Could it be the kernel? I am running jrior's Torched kernel and am curious of anybody is running the stock kernel without this problem. Could the GApps in OP be outdated and causing some problem? I was under the impression that a gapps zip simply needed to be for the appropriate android version...

    Post [ROM]Beanstalk 4.4.255 3/15/14) HALO&DarkStalk

Believe me, I've tried everything. Unfortunately, my Atrix had a nasty wakelock problem, so I'm familiar with a lot of the tricks. At this point, I'm concerned that it's a Google Play Services issue (even though it's been updated/FCed/cache&data cleared/etc) or a VERY DEEP system process...

YES same here. I've tried extensive wakelock troubleshooting (BetterBatteryStats & CPUspy). The PowerManager Kernel Wakelock (which I know is a catch-all for partial wakelocks) is taking up a MASSIVE percentage of battery, but the Partial Wakelocks screen doesn't turn up ANYTHING out of the...

Post [Q] RUU Workarounds for Linux/Ubuntu

I see. So basically, I could a) try to flash in a VM and hope the goat I sacrificed prevents a brick. Or, b) wait till next weekend when I see my brother, run the RUU.exe on his Windows laptop, and not have to worry about this frightening remounting business? I'm assuming it's a simple...

Thank you. This sheds a bit more light on the situation. I suspected I could update some 'pieces', like you mention (firmware and recovery), but clearly not everything. I realize this. Do you guys know of any VM software that doesn't require an original Windows disc? I believe Oracle's does, and I do not own one, as I stated in the OP. This is why I am looking for a Fastboot/ADB solution, and why "use a windows machine" just doesn't cut it. Thanks for the...

Really impressed with your ambition deedwar! Talk of a 10.2 build makes me really excited- mostly because of how much time and work you devote to your ROMs. Bugs will always be present, but I feel very confident with your ROMs on my xacros. Looking forward to any updates.

Apologies- I spend more time on the Xperia boards- but regarding the 'standalone kernel': Is this the same kernel packaged with the ROM, the 'stock' kernel, just in a standalone package? Or is the kernel itself different, offering improvements over the stock kernel (eg video drivers)? I hope...

I have flashed v0.3 after a clean wipe and I've run into a problem: My device won't charge. I have flashed the bootloader.img just to be safe and even re-flashed the ROM (making sure everything was wiped & clean). Apparently, if I shut down my phone it WILL charge, but if I slide it into the...

I have flashed 215 and will go out on a limb and say that there is NO confirmed deep sleep problem. Disregard the whacky network signal readings. I've been on and off the subway all day. So far, battery seems better than 211 (which I came from; clean flash btw) If you think you're...

To narrow down the problem you guys should check two things: 1: Go into the stock battery info/graph and tap the graph itself. Compare the 'Awake' bar at the bottom with the other bars.
