Sorry, I actually have a KFHD7 - the two almost identical posts are confusing. I followed the HD7 instructions, not these ones. But even if I was stuck in the same position on a 8.9, suggesting to use adb when someone is in a bootloop doesn't make sense to me. Can you explain that?

Everything was done to the letter, in the correct order and I had no errors or issues throughout.

Also stuck here at the KF logo. Awaiting my fastboot cable to arrive. Instructions were followed precariously, to a tee with no errors whatsoever.

Hey there, Sorry to push this once again. But does anyone have ideas regarding my bootloop problem? I have followed the instructions to the tee. I've purchased a factory cable from eBay so I can boot back into Fastboot to try again, but I'm not sure what to do differently?

Hey guys, I was able to get into fastboot and perform all the commands exactly as shown, to the results as shown However now at the "Enter Recovery" stage I am stuck - I just have a flashing (out and in) regular kindle fire logo (orange). Any ideas?

Quick question. I can always get into adb fine, but fastboot commands get stuck on 'waiting for device'. All drivers are installed correctly (and re-installed several times). I've tried both Win 7 and OS X; but I tend to have more luck on OSX doing anything. Ideas?

Definitely a solution that works. Is there any way to cause the softkey bar to minimize once the keyboard is opened in portrait? Perhaps it's just me, but when typing fast I keep hitting triggering the search key etc when tapping space bar and it throws me out of the app I'm in.
