I can't directly help you in this but I can point you in a good direction. You first need to make sure that the "ported" rom has the right kernel(+drivers), radio, and bootloader for the Inc 4G, and not still the one for EVO 4G. Hope that helps.

This was solved. It was the routers fault. Apparently due to the recent storms at the time boucing the power, the flash on the router got into a bad state and required a 30-30-30 reset and has been happily working since then.
