I'm joining the ranks of ex 6P owners. Put in Warranty (Nexus Protection via Fi, which is where I bought my 6P) on Thursday afternoon. Bought a Graphite 6P 32GB in December of 2015. Received my Black 32GB Pixel XL today. Was hoping for a storage bump, but that's just kind of being greedy.

The best thing I've found thus far, which isn't anywhere near as convenient as this mod, is the app "Rapid Reboot" (requires root).

Does anyone know of anything close to this for Lollipop? No xposed now, and I find myself particularly missing my reboot menu.

Looking forward to the Odex version. I've considered going with Xposed and GravityBox, but all I really seem to want on top of stock is the advanced reboot menu. Maybe I just don't know what I'm missing.

I'll look into the app. Unlock and root were the first things I did with it, before even signing in to my google account.

Does anyone know if there's an Advanced Power Menu mod or app available yet for the N5/KitKat? What I mean is, hold down the Power Off button on screen, to go to an expanded menu with options for Restart Phone, Enter Recovery, Enter Bootloader, Enter Safe Mode.

From his twitter, new build has the JRO03L code, he said it has a new kernel and some LTE changes. Also the Verizon apps are supposed to be working properly from the get-go with this one.

This is some of the best news I've seen. I'll admit, I'm eagerly awaiting. I've tried a few other things, and the 2 ROMs I keep coming back to as options are mROM and Bugless Beast. Waiting for a good, stable, reliable, "no-workarounds" version of either of these with the new VZW Binaries.

Peter, can we expect to see a nightly very soon with the new updated toro 4.1.1 binaries from yesterday?

Even if there is, it should be capable of using the same jig as the Galaxy series to reset all that, right?

Tiny, your 10/31 .13 kernel seems to break the ability for certain apps/widgets to determine the CPU speed. Specifically, on your 10/23 .10 kernel (and earlier) Elixir would display the MHz for me on the widget. On the 10/31 kernel, all I get is a "-" there instead. Flashed back to your 10/23...

Cyanogenmod team won't be making a ROM from the SDK. They'll make CM9 from the ICS AOSP source, once it's released.

This looks neat. I'm going to be conservative and wait an update or two for the pronouncement of rock-solid stability (I JUST got 3.0 v2.3 where I'm thoroughly happy with it), but I have no doubt that Nils' 3.5 ROM will be the benchmark.

I flashed the "Black Inverted Messaging" from Post 3, and it's NOT the sleek, glossy-look Blueish/Teal and White on Black from 2.2. It's very "flat." I loved the sleek/shiny/glossy 2.2 SMS/MMS with the black background - that is what I'd love to get back in 2.3.

I had something similar happen on my weekend trip this last week. I don't know about the vibrating 5 times, but what I noticed was, charging while using Navigation (part of Google Maps), the phone and battery got very hot, then it'd restart and end up in a boot loop, getting to the Business...

Give Nils' GingerSense 3.0 v2.2 a try. I gave it a shot after Synergy RLS1, and I've come to really like it. While I'd prefer a little less flashy animation and stuff (more Sense 2.1ishness) I've found it to be stable, responsive, and problem-free.

Can I safely delete the "android" keyboard? If so, what's it called in applications? I've already removed HTC_IME (I'm a devoted SwiftKey X user), I'd like to get other needless keyboards off my phone if I can safely.
