The 60fps on mobile YouTube is relatively (kinda) new, but it's a real pia when it doesn't work and the next best is 480p. I know that it doesn't come up at 60fps on chrome, looks like 480p to me. I'm not trying to complain, too much... I'm more just curious if the S3 doesn't have enough...

Curious, does everyone have issues with screen freezing on the YouTube app when watching 60fps vids? Is this a hardware limitation of the S3?

It might be too early to tell, but my over heating might have been stemming from the Google now launcher I was using. It seems to be running cooler on trebuchet.

What are your mobile settings? I noticed a few times that it would default to NV vs SIM setting. If it's not set to SIM, try switching it, reboot, and try text again. I'm not running cm at the moment, but I believe it's in setting, more settings, mobile settings. Make sure you're on lte/cdma...

Solved: For anyone interested and using Solid Explorer, you now have to check an option to mount R/W: Jump - Quick Config - Check box for Mount r/w
