Same issue here; originally claimed no sim card, got it replaced at VZ store, now its having this exact issue.
VZ said call the tech support, if replacing the sim doesnt fix it, NEW PHONE foe free is the next step. :laugh:

Power save features are built into alot of roms. Sure that could save some % of your battery but imagine if you turned on powersave AND used my method. WHOA, youd have so much battery!
I believe that even charging your phone with it off, will still allow it to creep down to 90% though yea? Those protect circuits are physically part of the battery.
