Hi I've also tried the PS3 Controller app but I can tell you this controller from Gamestop works. Google "Tablet Wireless Game Controller V2" it selling for $15 and works well enough I'm sure there are better ones though. The Moga Pocket works (Tried it on stock) but, it didn't fit my needs...
