Post Firmware oficial 9.0.0 Pie (Instalacion)

Will this work with XT1929-3? This is an unlocked Sprint variant of the phone. I currently can't connect to any LTE networks but 3G works. I am hoping that flashing will fix this (provided it's not a radio band issue).

Thread XT1768 Hard Brick NEED HELP

I tried to install TWRP recovery and then flashing something without first doing a factory reset and now my phone won't turn on. I get nothing on the display when holding the power button or power + Vol. Down. Device Manager detects the phone only as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". I've read...

Post Moto E4 XT1767 Fingerprint Scanner Lag

Well here is the thing: when the phone is on the lock screen (screen turned on and asking for fingerprint or pattern/pin) the fingerprint sensor is instant and always accurate. The only time I am seeing lag is when I hold to turn the screen on (the screen is off but holding the fingerprint...

Thread Moto E4 XT1767 Fingerprint Scanner Lag

I picked up this phone on my local craigslist late last week (at $15, I could not resist), unlocked it, and have been using it. When compared to my moto Z play, I have to hold the fingerprint scanner longer to turn the phone on or off which for some reason is very frustrating. I do not believe...

Aren't you running stock firmware? This board is here so we can figure out how to run something other than stock firmware but the phones bootloader is locked.

If you're willing to pay more for Verizon service, why don't you pay more and get a moto g or x? I think they have a CDMA variant? Moto e is a budget phone while Verizon is not a budget carrier.

Both. Motorola locks the bootloader at Verizon's request I'm sure. Motorola sells an unlocked bootloader moto e.

Network app: So phones have programs called apps. Open one called Play Store. Search for "network" click on a result that is called "network". Then press install. This is a developers thread. I recommend you read some help manuals before spewing nonsense here.

Your wrong. The network app does work. Even on 5.1. Put your Sim card into the phone. Go to settings, more, cellular networks, preferred network type. Then swipe down on the notification tray twice and enable airplane mode from the notification tray. Then hit the home button. Go to the network...

    1. There is another thread where people are working on a root solution. This should be fixed with root. 2. T-Mobile uses different bands than AT&T. The moto e probably has the band so you're picking up LTE. Put the cricket Sim back in and leave it for like an hour without calling or anything. I...

    1. Look back at yesterday's posts. Someone found a way to get around doing the adb shell commands on 5.1 using the airplane mode toggle in the notification tray and the network app. 2. The reason it says HSPA+ is because the phone doesn't have the right LTE radio for your location so it's...

Before you smash your phones, try purchasing an unlock code from eBay. I've had previous success this way. If they can't unlock it they just send you a refund. It's usually under $5.
