Hi just picked up the international version (CPH1919) in the UK. I can confirm that HDMI out works over usb-c.

For those interested I received new Mate 9 (L29) today (Thu 8th). Ordered from Wonda Mobile on Tuesday morning (6th), paid for DHL, dispatched by Wonda 24hrs later, delivered by DHL 32 hours after. I can confirm it is the L29 model and mine is running build MHA-L29C636B110.

Great app I've been using is App Swap. It's a brilliant substitute for not having an App Drawer or (even if you're using an alternative launcher) just for getting to your app drawer without going home first. It basically allows you to swipe up on the circle home button to open your app drawer.
