On my old Moto PE, I had no issues with unlocked bootloader and Magisk for Adroid Pay or any banking apps. Are you finding differently with Moto X4 or are you not hiding root with Magisk? Does safetynet checks pass in Magisk?

Dumb question, but I can temporarily root by booting, but not flashing the modified magisk boot image after unlocked the bootloader? I should be able to continue taking OTA update if reboot after my root requirements are done?

So I had the module working with the latest dialer apk and then tried the above approach. Now the system thinks the overlay is off even though the UI shows it on. This is after uninstalling the dialer as a user app and reinstalling the module. Anyone have any ideas on what data is hanging...

Lineage is dying during initial setup. As soon as I hit the "Next" button on Location services, the screen starts to break up and it eventually reboots.

Tried AP for the first time at Panera today and failed...seems even with Root Cloak on AP and Google Play Service as well as No Device Check, it still fails.

Thanks. I was upgrading from CM10, but I'll check there just in case. I know the history of this device had been through the manual partition resizing process, so don't know if something is now out of whack between the file system and the actual partition sizes.

VZW posted a new OTA update. Anyone know if this interferes with the update process? I reverted my recovery but the update failed...trying to figure out why.

Totally late to the party, but tried installing this on my tablet (TouchPad sitting next to the bed) and can't click the buttons for user agent. Not sure if the disable screen scaling is enabled or disabled in the manifest, but perhaps that would be a quick fix? I'd be happy to test it...

Odd. I'm definitely not in a 4G area, but I switched my Network mode from LTE/CDMA to CDMA only and the Hotspot fix started working. Toggled back, stops working. Flip a couple more times and now it's working on the LTE/CDMA setting. Still may try Tether Router.

Yes, reminds me when I got two Nook Tablets for my kids at the same time. Flashed the exact same CM build on both. One had bootloops, the other didn't. Had to back up a few revisions to get them working. Good news, is I just picked them up new hummingbirds...my, how I love how B&N hardware...

I noticed that Demetris has been doing some excellent kernel work on the Nook Tablet and has added exFat support. Any chance some of that work could come our way? With the HD+ being so great for videos, the 2GB limit is really frustrating.

Weird. Did Settings > System > Power menu > Reboot menu checked (as is Profile switcher, Airplane mode, Sound panel) Settings > Developer options > Advanced reboot checked No "Reboot to recovery" option pressing the power key. But I could get to TWRP through GooManager.

Reboot to recovery isn't there...even though I turned it on, which seems to indicate to me that the recovery didn't get installed.

If I hold power+nook, eventually it shuts off. If I don't hold it that long, just boots right into cm 10.1. On my nook tablet, there was a "hit N for boot menu" or something like that. And I wasn't clear at all above (sorry!). I turned on the option in developer settings for Advanced Reboot...

I'm stumped. I've turned on the option to reboot recovery, when I originally installed the CM 10.1, I installed the twrp zip, cm 10.1 zip, and gapps zip. However, I can't seem to boot into recovery -- makes me think it's not really there. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...

Can't run CM10.1 Just bought two NT 16GB tablets for the kids. One will run CM10.1 off of the SD card, the other won't. Tried installing on the non-working one to EMMC and get the same thing. Tablet just resets while booting up CM10.1. Suggestions?

FoxFi wifi isn't working for me, at least not to my HP Touchpad (CM9, new wifi drivers). It actually shows up (consistent as above) as AndroidAP, but indicates it's a protected network. No password prompt when trying to connect.

Seems the latest Flash Fix in post #7 doesn't work with the latest Flash update? Is my understanding correct that Flash and AIR updates will work OK as long as we completely uninstall Flash and AIR before installing a new version?
