Hi all, I've been on the last stable 1535 for a good while now and was thinking of going to the latest DEV build, but I can't remember if they come rooted or not? I cannot have the phone rooted as my work uses Good email app which detects rooting and fails to run.

Didn't think of trying to clear the cache so I went a bit nuclear on it :) Not sure what built I last run AnTuTu on (think it was S121 ROW) but 1535 gives about 500 more points - the storage I/O has doubled from 1011 to 2146. The other scores are all pretty similar.

The upgrade broke my Google stuff inc the launcher so spflashtool to get CWM back on, then reflashed the slim_mini_gapps and all good again!

Facebook Messenger is unreliable for me on 1534 too. So I uninstalled it and tell people to use WhatsApp :) The dialler and SMS apps have bits of Chinese in it which is annoying - anyone recommend any replacement diallers?

1543 now installed and it's flying along compared to ROW S121! I need to get all my apps reinstalled but so far so good. It needs a bit of effort clearing Chinese stuff, and I don't really know what I can get rid of safely... anyone got a list?

OK So I've installed the Vibe UI 1534 build and have an issue where the play store won't download any apps over wifi, but over the mobile network is fine?! I'm using some gapps I found called BaNkS-dynamic-gapps-5.x.x-8-15-15.zip edit - I've tried disabling ipv6 but that makes no difference...

The lag on the S121 ROW disappears as soon as you clear all the running apps. Once a couple hundred MB is in use though it's back.

I'm getting a fair bit of lag on ROW S121 - I don't remember having this at all on the original Limonchelo one. WhatsApp especially keeps freezing for up to 5-10 seconds at a time which is really irritating.

I'll stick with this ROM for now - all working perfectly! Hope it gets to 5.1 (although I'm not sure I could tell you what the difference is :D )

Yep I'm using the ROW S121 now on my phone with a Three and an O2 SIM in and it works perfectly.

OK thanks. I've been using 5.0 Limonchelo and liked it so far. Flashing the Lenovo ROW S112 image now so I guess should get all the OTA updates to take it to S121 to see what the fuss is about :D

Is S121 Android 5.1?

I can't get the Carbon ROM to work - after setting up the wifi, it gets stuck on 'checking for updates' which I can't skip.

Yep messed around with the GPU rendering and overlay settings and turned screen off and on and it seems OK now. Not exactly sure what bit fixed it :) By the way, latest build as of last night installed on my HD and HD+ and all seems good - big jump from Android 4.x from about a year ago.

Hi all, Anyone seen on their HD the screen flickering? The screen flashes off every second or so.... and the brightness controls don't work? Cheers, Steve

I lose track on what build I'm on (I think it's the latest Slim one as of a couple days ago) and I have the same issue - it remembers my home wifi networks when I'm at work. Manually entering the SSID and password works fine though.

Thanks for that. I wouldn't have the dev experience to be the 'device maintainer' :( I think this is the only Android ROM I've not tried yet, so installing now :)

Is the build from 15 August still the one to use for Slimbean?

Any news on any updates for this? Generally it's the smoothest one I've used but the odd text, especially around Wifi (and general Wifi stability) really need sorting. It's odd clicking 'Deny' to connect :D

I did my girlfriend's nook HD last night (I have the plus) and it from the get go started doing this weird screen off and on issue where the display would fad to off then back on again as if you kept pressing the power button over and over. It kept doing it even when rebooting into the recovery...

YEah I've had this issue since the first non stock flash I did. If it locks through the magnet, it needs to unlock through the magnet it seems!

Actually I've not tried the gmail app - I'm using the normal email app on an Exchange server. Just tried the gmail one and that is fine.

If I can find a microsd card the Nook likes at work I'll try B3 asap. The 6/27 build was great but in using my Nook today at work, when I go to unlock it, it unlocks for under a second then it locks again! I have to reboot it to get into it, then it does the same thing once locked for a minute...

Just put this on my HD+ in place of CM10.1 and so far so good :)

I use mine (with the CyanogenMod) to play back videos. Not tried big 1080p files yet but smaller demo clips work fine. I often play back 720p TV rips mkv files no problem.
