Someone from Google on Google forums said they're working on enabling AA Wireless with non Google Pie phones. It sounds like Google has this intentionally disabled on the backend for non Google phones.

I have the stable Pie update on my US Unlocked Galaxy S9 and wireless android auto still doesn't work with my JVC KW-M845BW. Come on Google!

Just checking to see if anyone with the One UI Beta has been able to test to see if Android Auto Wireless is working? If not this needs to be submitted to Samsung to get added.

These phones are actually quite old and I am going to most likely replace these for them with a Nokia 3.1. That phone has Android One so it will actually get updates in a reasonable amount of time for 2 years guaranteed, unlike with Motorola's (non Android One).

They need to allow battery percent and push other things like the bluetooth and the do not disturb icon into the overflow.

Yeah I tried this procedure hoping it would work with one of my two sd cards but unfortunately with my nook hd+, these procedures didn't get me to boot to the card at least one time after several tries.
