I read the same about the gapps. So which gapps are we supposed to be using? As far as I know Cyan still has the 4.2.1 gapps from last December as their most recent.

Use the LTE toggle and disable it when not in use. Being on just WiFi or 3G makes a huge difference.

The rumors were concerning project roadrunner, and unfortunately that particular project isn't part of Android 4.2. Maybe 4.3 or 5.0?

Flash the stock kernel or perhaps the latest Franco nightly, as people don't seem to be having issues with those. It could be the cause of your DSP issue.

Sounds like a rogue app or something is causing the battery life issues. If you try different kernels and the issues remain I'd do a full wipe and re-flash. I am not having the same experiences you are and I am on stock October M release; I can get 17 hours of battery life and between 2-3...

No it is not based on cm10. AOKP is built from the ground up using source.

The only problem with build 2 is the one AOKP mentions on their website, which is that setting a custom ringtone to a contact will cause a crash. This build is great besides that, but it looks like we'll see build 3 soon, which will include a fix for the custom ringtone issue.

I know some higher up in Google said it's a myth, but have you wiped battery stats after it charges to 100%? Many swear it does actually work. Otherwise try LeanKernel with CM10; much better battery life.

Rom Manager is the cause, not Bugless Beast. Use root explorer to navigate to the root of the "sd card" and delete the file called .nomedia. Then clear the cache of "media storage," reboot and wait for your music (and pictures) to re-populate. You'll need to set up custom ringtones again, but...

Bugless Beast and BAMF Paradigm are tops in my opinion. CM10 is great, but is there an official build yet or just the kangs?

Jelly Bean runs stupid fast, faster than even CM9. However, there are still bugs so I've flashed back to good 'ol CM9 RC1. I can't imagine how great CM will be once they implement Jelly Bean. I "pity the foo" who didn't stick with their GNex.

It is running perfect for me too. CM is tops in my opinion. With that sid, Jelly Bean is faster than even CM9 RC1, and that's in it's current form. Can you imagine how great it will be when Cyanogenmod releases their version!? :cool:

That's still up for debate. It works for me, and has since the Moto Droid. To each their own.

Re-download CM7, put it on your card, and also wipe the system before installing it (Wipe data, cache, dalvik and system).

If I recall it is built off OMFGB source, so CM7 settings won't be present.
