Post [ROOT ANDROID][2.x-6.0] KINGROOT: The One-Click Root Tool for Almost All Devices

Is there a one-click root for the Samsung Note 10 Plus yet? (SM-N975U) All I want to do is be able to run programs like Adaway and Titanium Backup. Really no interest in recovery modules or custom ROMs.

Thread Noob needs help flashing Android 6.0 or higher.

Noob here: I need help with my Note 3 (SM-N900V). I bought a used phone to replace a stolen one; it came with Android 4.0. A few years ago I successfully used Odin to flash TWRP 3.1.0.0 and the stock OF1 Android 5.0 rom, followed by a root with ArabicTool. Phone works fine for everyday use...

I have a Galaxy Note 3 model SM-N900V I bought used on eBay. It came with Android 4.3, and I was able to root it with Kingo. Recently a helpful family member upgraded it to Android 5.0 (via the normal Verizon process) which undid the root. Kingo will no longer root it. I tried this method on...

Thread Can I let my rooted Note 3 be updated?

I have two Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phones, SM-N900V. One has Android version 5.0 and I haven't been able to root that one. The other one has Android version 4.3, and I was able to root it from Windows using mobilego_setup_full818.exe. Now that the second phone is rooted, I get daily...

I've never been able to have my S3 show up as a drive when I hook it to my Windows 7 computer. I gave up and relied on the wifi transfer apps, but thought I'd revisit the issue. I have the Samsung USB drivers installed. When I plug in the phone, I hear the USB connection noise, and a Portable...

New problem with old rom Using all the steps in section 4 of the guide, a few months ago I flashed my wife's Fascinate with aokp_fascinatemtd_jb_build-4.zip and gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip. Help with GApps I just loaded the AOKP Jelly Bean and the GApps on my Fascinate, but there's no Google Maps or Navigator in the app list. The phone isn't phone-number-activated nor is any Google account info entered...is that stopping them from appearing, or is there some other problem?

This isn't really the right place to ask this, but I figure you guys would know: Is the Galaxy S3 a single model? That is, there seem to be dozens (hundreds?) of different Galaxy S models (like the Fascinate)...will the same be true of the S3? If so, I wonder what I pre-ordered from Verizon...

Droidstyle, a couple of days ago I pre-ordered a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3, which I hope to get in early July. Could you create another guide like this one for the S3, full of working links to things like the AOKP rom, by then for me? That'd be great. ;)

Okay, based on this I stopped by the local Verizon dealer on the way home and pre-ordered the Galaxy S3...and was promised I'll be able to keep my unlimited data plan. They said it will ship in a month. Is that long enough so that a AOKP rom will be ready for it?

    Post Verizon Eliminating Unlimited Data

That's the trouble...at the moment there's nothing I'd want to upgrade to. I like the size of the Galaxy Note, but only AT&T has that...and who knows if we'll ever get a shot at the GS3 before the chance to keep our unlimited data expires?

Droidstyle, is there a way to backup the changes to the rom settings I'm made on my Fascinate so when I flash a new rom with a data wipe, I don't have to re-enter them all? For example, based on posts I've seen here I've entered many custom brightness settings, and then played around adjusting...

    Post Verizon Eliminating Unlimited Data

You must have missed the fact that Verizon is *also* adding a new $30 "upgrade" fee, in addition to replacing your unlimited data with only 2 GB a month. "Taking something away" is *in addition* to "a price increase". Since they aren't giving you anything different for the new $30 upgrade fee...

Post Samsung Galaxy S III revealed by Samsung

One important question: Once the Samsung Galaxy S III is available from Verizon, how long will it be until there's an AOKP/Glitchy rom available for it that'll give me all the stability and control I now have over my Fascinate? Because until there is, I'm not sure I want to upgrade.

    Post Replacement for Fascinate?

I'm really disappointed Verizon doesn't have a Galaxy S II phone. How could they not, given all the great reviews I've seen? If it wasn't for losing my unlimited data plan, it would be enough to push me back to AT&T.
