The in call adjustments using the volume rocker on the side of the phone don't change anything whether you turn it up or down. Thank you for the tip of the galaxy s settings. I put them on 0 and I think it helped.

Is there anyway to reduce the in call volume below the standard minimum level? It's on minimum and I have to hold my headset away from my ear. The volume is fine without the headset.

I've been using Rick's 12.9 for a few weeks now with Glitch 13.0. I flashed Glitch 13.1 a few days ago and had my first SOD yesterday if that's any help. Both kernels were kept at default settings.

When I try to browse for a custom ringtone using alarm software or something similar (seems to be anything outside of the sounds menu in MIUI), there is no option to choose file browser or root explorer. The only option is Themes and Google Music. Is there something I can do to be able to select...

Try toggling wifi off and using 3G to send/receive. If that doesn't work, keep wifi off and reboot and it should work then.

There doesn't seem to be an option for speech to text. There is an option for text to speech though... Did you just download the ICS keyboard from the market? I got one and there is a button for speech to text but it never listens, it just shows the muted mic symbol the whole time...

I am pretty much a MIUI convert now, this is a great ROM. Regarding the data loss issue requiring a reboot I seem to have experienced it as well. This is something related to this rom, it's not a MTD issue, correct? Also, why is there no voice to text button in the keyboard?

Has the phantom ring been fixed? I actually switched to MIUI and glitch v13 last week and haven't seen it.

If she doesn't know what CM7 is I wouldn't install it for her. Last I checked, there are still some issues. Phantom ring is one where you get a loud ringtone in the earpiece after you answer a call every now and then. When I was running it, I had to toggle airplane mode sometimes to get back 3G...

I am using the Touchwiz Superclean ROM and I don't think it's there. I looked through "All applications" in the settings menu and there was no mention of iq anywhere. TrevE also wrote an app to detect it and it didn't appear to find CIQ on my ROM. Let me know what you all find.

Yeah, it's happened to others. Many people just install Quick Pic as a replacement since it's considered better.

What modem do you have? The ringing you are experiencing is called the phantom ring. I thought it was a known issue in all mtd roms, but I haven't used one in awhile. I remember having the call volume the same way. You have to press vol down once. Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App

My car cradle seem to work on same kernel. Once I dock the phone in the desk cradle, I have to hit the home button and that brings me to the cradle home. I assume the same works for car mode.

Same here. What's the process for going to this rom from MTD after completing the ODIN ED05 restore? This ROM recommends 2.x CWM and the ext4 formatter recommends cwm 3.x recovery... The kernel + ROM package does not convert to ext4 voodoo coming from Odin ED05 recovery.

You could also try a bluetooth headset. I've never had a compliant using it on AOSP.

That would be awesome. But, I guess team sbrissen isn't working on froyo roms anymore. All we can do is hope for a working GB rom leak lol. I'd be pretty surprised if that happened :mad:

If you view or try to delete a linked contact does anyone else get a FC? I had it happen with each one I viewed or deleted. Click a linked contact and choose delete and it will bring you to a screen where you can check which contacts to delete.

Do you need the premium version to do that?

Does anyone else get a FC when trying to update roaming via *228? It works but when it auto disconnects it FC's. Also, when I dialed *22899 the screen went black and phone FC and I had to reboot. Is *22899 the same thing as *228 option 2?
