    Yes there's a way. First you need to flash TWRP recovery from bootloader, then reboot into recovery you'll find the option Mount. Now you can mount your internal storage to the PC and backup whatever you want.

    There's a file named something like flash-all.bat Create a sh file from the commands it have, It may probably work.

    Are you flashing using flash-all.bat or the.sh file? If you are using the batch file install wine on your linux device. Or you can boot TWRP and wipe everything including internal storage, system, data and dalvik cache and then try to flash the file. I recommend you to auto flash, not manually...

    I have the persist of both oneplus 6 and 6t. You can download it from my gdrive link. It's not a flashable zip you have to extract the persist.img and then flash it using fastboot. Just search for the command line to flash the file from Ubuntu...

    Look the stock kernel is the file named boot.img and you should flash persist because it contains all the sensor usage files.
