I'm having problems too with the latest zip. I wiped Dalvik, System, Data, Cache and Vendor. When flashing the zip, I get the error "Failed to mount '/system' (invalid argument)".

You're welcome. I recommend you switch to Lineage 14 if you're on version 13, since this one here is not updated anymore.

I've been using it for 4 months, 2 with LineageOS by Carlos Arriaga, and I have no major complaints. Only a few annoyances, like the adaptative brightness changing its value when I'm in a completely dark room, and the orientation sensor not responding most of the times when I rotate the phone...

I've updated my apps yesterday night, and then every app stopped working. Then I rebooted the phone, and now I'm stuck in a bootloop. When the boot animation completes, the message "Preparing apps" appears briefly, and then the animation restarts. Seems somewhat related to this topic...

I'm sorry, I think you misunderstood. LineageOS official core/branch version is 14.1, but there is no official release for Redmi 4A. The most recent version, unofficial, is the one of this thread, built by Carlos, and it's LOS 13. He said he successfully built the 14.1, but didn't release it yet.

All official releases of LineageOS are 14.1, and they're already working on LOS 15.

We're all waiting ever since. Carlos' post history indicates that he's focused on other devices at the moment.

The call speaker (front) volume is a little bit low for me, even in max. I can barely hear when in a noisy environment. Is there a way to increase it? Edit: I've tried this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgCf2Lg0VK8 without success.
