Yes, I can flash a kernel through CWM and it works. So, will the following steps work for putting my own kernel into the zip file? 1. Unzip existing zip file 2. Replace uImage 3. Re-zip the files 4. Sign the zip file Am I missing anything?

I installed the experimental CWM 5.0.2.8 and the partition tool on my 16GB A1, and so far so good. I made a backup of the stock system and then installed the latest nightly of CM7 with it. Thanks for your good work, gmarkall.
