Post [ROM] CM 11.0 (Android 4.4) for RazrHD XT925/XT926

I thought I remembered seeing a work-around for the camcorder hiss a while ago and found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49458000&postcount=1172 from an earlier post in this thread. Basically, inside of the camcorder app, you set the audio codec from AAC to AMRNB. This...

Post Soundfreaq SFQ-04 Sound Kick Bluetooth Wireless Speaker

I have these speakers that I use with the Nexus 7 and I love them. The sound quality is actually quite good for portable speakers. The only real drawback I have had with them is that they sometimes cutout when playing music that is streaming from the internet (I think this is more of a Nexus 7...

Post [DEV] Lenovo Ideapad A1 Kernel Development/Testing

Thanks! I was able to get my kernel flashed and running with this. One side note, it initially would fail updating when running fuse. I had to edit the kernel as suggested in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24258731&postcount=62. After recompiling the uImage and...

Post [DEV] Lenovo Ideapad A1 Kernel Development/Testing

Yes, I can flash a kernel through CWM and it works. So, will the following steps work for putting my own kernel into the zip file? 1. Unzip existing zip file 2. Replace uImage 3. Re-zip the files 4. Sign the zip file Am I missing anything?

Post [DEV] Lenovo Ideapad A1 Kernel Development/Testing

I've been trying to boot my A1 from an SD card so that I can test kernels, but I am not having any luck getting it to boot a new kernel. I have followed the directions on the first post, and everything appears to work, except that when CM7 launches, it is still running the original kernel...

Post Lenovo IdeaPad A1 7" Tablet Review and Root!

SuperOneClick no longer works for rooting the A1 after installing the latest updated ROM (2643). Instead, do this: 1) download A1_rooter.zip from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22574333&postcount=623 2) rename it to update.zip and put it in /mnt/sdcard 3) power down...
