Gapp fixed it all, thanks for the help. Is there any way to readd the exchange and email apk's though? Is it just a matter of copying them on from somewhere and running them or would they need to be dropped into the mod somehow?

AT&T unlocked Atrix which I have had for 2 months now and its never randomly rebooted. I have rooted it, installed various linux installs, used the webtop extensively, formatted it back to 1.26 and updated OTA several times and it has been rock solid considering all the crap I have done to it.

Hmmm, ok after rebooting the phone and plugging the usb drive in BEFORE opening the lapdock it is viewable in the file manager. It seems however that if I plug it in while the lapdock is open it was only available via the phone window. Anyway problem solved!

So I have seen a few posts and done a few searches and have yet to find an answer to this one. You can use a FAT32 formatted USB drive when using the webtop mod with the lapdock (and I assume the HD dock too), however trying this, I only appear to be able to browse this via the phone window...

ok I picked up some directions from brief mobile (it wont let me show the link) ... however it keeps failing during the update. Everything works fine does exactly what the guide says, it start executing and then after about a minute or so it fails. Anyone have some better directions or another...

I have exactly the same issue even on 1.57 it all appears correct, plugin is there, but just a black box where java should be. I do not have the full ubuntu mod installed, dont know enough about linux to want to risk bricking my phone :)
