I rooted the phone and used the debloat script to get rid of unnecessary apps. I couldn't find the power-savings setting, can someone point me to where that is? Don't know if rooting it and running that script got rid of it. Thanks

There is a selection for which sim you want to use for Mobile Data in the SIM Management however since the device is a Dual Sim Passive device you will have to manually change to the Data only SIM once you run out of data on your primary phone SIM.

I am using the ADB drivers from the original post. Worked fine for me. Maybe remove the current drivers you have and install those ones and try again?

I just rooted it and ran the script to unclutter EMUI. So far it seems better. I have not installed any custom screens.

Hotspot is by the carrier. If the carrier doesn't allow it then it wont activate on any phone.
