Recently I've been trying to download live streams but it always ends up unplayable. It works before, has IG changed something to break this feature?
Edit: only on long streams over 30 mins.
I'm a bit confused. You didn't use mi flash but later on you said after mi flash tool, use twrp to flash xiaomi.eu? So did you flash stock after xiaomi.eu
Those of you who have echo issue. Wipe everything from the phone in twrp. Flash the stock miui via xiaomi flash, boot it up. After that flash twrp again then the rom etc. I don't have any echo issue and that's what I do when I try out a new rom.
Nah its nothing to do with that. I flashed the permissive version and it was downqclocking fine. The enforcing version seems to stay at 1.6ghz for some reason. Could be just myself.
So far everything seems fine but the CPU doesn't seem to go below 1600mhz causing a slight battery drain. Also the bluetooth mac address is not correct.
My god you are persistent! All your posts since joining are about sound problem and asking people to fix it for you. Can you not wait? or if your that desperate, learn and fix it yourself!
There isn't any problem with the kernel and oreo. Even if I use stock kernel with nos it still drains eats up battery like crazy when using lte instead of wifi. I think its a problem with oreo roms in general because its the same on most oreo roms I've tried with their stock kernel. If you only...
Use data for 10 mins or so and then check out the battery usage in mah. You'll see that it uses a lot with data and not so with wifi. I use data quite often so I can't be doing with that much drain as a daily driver.
I don't think so. Do you use data a lot? It only seem to be draining a lot when you use data and not WiFi. People who doesn't have the drain, try and use data for a bit (streaming videos or whatever) and see if there's drain.
Thats exactly it. If you start using data and not wifi, check out the battery usage then. Thats the only thing that stops me using oreo as a daily driver since I like to use data without the insane battery drain.
It only seems to eat the battery like crazy when you use data. I and many people have the same problem. Try it with WiFi and you won't see it eat up at all. Seems to be a common problem with current oreo roms.
You guys are not the only one. That's the main reason why I don't use this rom as daily driver since I use data a lot. For those who thinks there's no problem. Try and stream a video or whatever using data and then post some screenshots.
I don't know why but mobile network standby is eating up battery like crazy if I use data. Tried newest firmware, kernels, different network modes but still drains like crazy. Only option is to use wifi only and then it doesn't drain. I know some have this problem and some don't, I'm just out of...
How long have you had your phone? Because I'm having the same problem and also battery life has dropped way off no matter what rom/kernel. Its definitely the battery deteriorating because I use a usb meter to see how much capacity its taken and from 0-100 its only taken around 3100mah. Whereas...
Well you didn't exactly mention the battery percentage which explains the slower rate and with Radon I charge at [email protected] there abouts until it reaches around 70%ish.
The first pic is barely qc either since its only 10W, same as standard charge rate. My guess is due to the extreme trotting related to temps. I tried both Radon and fk and it seems to charge faster with Radon (~15W)
My charging seems to be hovering around 10-12W(Max) MEGAX91 says he gets around 16W with screen off but it just strange because that we pretty much use the same charger but I don't seem to get anywhere near QC output.
I'm only seem to be getting around 12W max. I'm using a Aukey 18W charger and also tried the 2400 values you mentioned. Your results are stock kernel right?
MEGAX91 off topic, have you tired this kernel with a quick charger? just wondering if it variable voltage/current or is it just the standard 2.4A/5V like radon?
