Good...Better than nothing... My guess is that the thermal paste is probably too thin so isnt touching the back plate enough. The thermal pad I got is probably thick enough to put a little pressure on the chip while doing a good job on transferring the heat away from the chip. Tried playing...

Yes, still working well. Able to watch Netflix at 100% brightness without issues for several hours straight. Haven't really pushed it more than that... Which is a huge improvement to the 2 minutes of the screen being on before fading out from before i applied the thermal pad. I've seen youtube...

I had the screen flickering issue. LG refused to fix under warranty. Added a thermal pad on the chip/processor to see if it was just a heat transfer (lack thereof) issue. phone seems to work fine. It's been over a week now. Hope it continues to work... Sent from my LEX727 using Tapatalk
