Wow, that's quite the opus! Looking forward to seeing what sort of response you get. I bought directly from Three but still unhappy about having the branding and the crappy apps foisted on me, not really much room to complain though.

I'm loving mine. I'm not an audiophile by any means but coming from a decent pair of £100 RHA in-ears the sound is a good step up. Hot ears in the weather we've been having though!

The tracking was hopeless for me, while it said my parcel was at the delivery centre in York the driver was pushing a card through my door to say I'd missed delivery! I'd give Huawei a call, they've been really helpful to anyone that has.

I was 22909, validated on 22nd, received the headphones yesterday if that's any help.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the tracking number...mine says that the package is sitting in a delivery office in York when the headphones are actually on my head!

As with the others it's showing as Advised at the moment: As soon as we have the details about a parcel being sent on our systems the tracking results will state ‘Advised’. As soon as the item enters our network it will get a tracking scan and the Advised status will change to ‘In progress’

Just rang them and got the tracking number, Parcelforce Express 24.

No, I got it on contract from Three. I don't know what the boot animation was before I put my SIM card in or whether the apps were already there...I was assuming they were.

Interesting. I'm running C782 and have the Three splash screen when I reboot, along with preinstalled Three apps so I assumed it wasn't generic and that I'd need to wait for Three to approve an update. From what you're saying that's not the case?

So how many of us are actually going to keep the headphones? I'm going to try them to see how much better they are (if at all) than the ones I've already got. I imagine there'll be a glut on eBay in a few weeks time!

Yes. I uploaded the letter with the contract start date as proof of preorder and the delivery note as proof of purchase. Got my confirmation yesterday afternoon.

Just had my claim validated, unquestionably despite Three rather than because of them. Nice to see they're working weekends! Definitely getting the headphones, claim number in the upper 22000's.

I had a response from Huawei to my email. I explained what I'd uploaded i.e. letter from Three and the delivery note and they said: After reviewing your documents, I do believe that the documents provided would be sufficient. If there is anything further we require, we will contact you via...

The other concern is, with that many preorders whether they'll have enough headphones to fulfil the demand or whether they'll have to give whatever the item of equal value is that's mentioned in the terms.

It was certainly what swung it for me. I either get a great pair of headphones or I get a chunk of cash by selling them on ebay. Mind you there'll probably a lot of these on ebay when they start getting sent out!

I think you have to wait because there's a 14 day window in which you can return the phone, so they don't want you making a claim if you've returned it.

Finally got my claim in though the submitting your details screen is just hanging. Putting my claim id in shows they've received it. I fully expect it to be rejected though as the documentation I uploaded (email from Three and delivery note) are nothing like what they want.

Has anyone that upgraded with Three managed to get an invoice/receipt number? I was told in one of my many chats that because I upgraded there wasn't one, but I forgot that I'd paid £70 up front for the handset so I'm going to dive into another chat and pursue that. I tried entering the order...

I don't have a receipt number so I entered the order number from the delivery note. I had the same issue where there was nothing to select in the product dropdown. I wonder if that's because the invoice number was invalid.

That's all I've managed to get out of them so far. I don't understand what's so difficult about providing proof of preorder.

After three chat session with Three on Saturday and finally ending up chatting with a manager I was told they can't give preorder details. After pushing it some more saying Huawei won't give the headphones without it I got the 72 hour promise too. So we'll see if anything shows up by the end of...

For me, the only thing that doesn't work is Play Music. The progress bar moves but there's no sound. BBC iPlayer Radio and TuneIn Radio both work fine. No problems with Maps and phone.

Honor 9 working fine for me, Google Maps, TuneIn Radio, BBC iPlayer radio, Play Music, dialler, no problems at all.

I am using RHA MA650 wireless earphones and am experiencing sync problems with audio when watching videos. The audio is delayed when watching videos on the BBC website, and the audio is ahead of the video with YouTube. I don't experience any problems with videos on my Pixel C. Has anyone else...
