Hi, ChromeOS: 71 Stable Channel Just a quick one, what's the latest on Linux Audio support and Android SD access? When are these expected in the Developer/Beta channels and Stable channels? Broadly speaking. It looks like Linux Audio support isn't working on any channel yet? -...

Post How do you toggle between current app and watch display etc?

It does this on Galaxy Gear too. It makes much more sense the app you're using is just there, no need to press any button :-/ Thanks for the double tap tip.

As I understand it the Android 5.1.1 update from Samsung isn't available in The UK but looks like it is elsewhere. My Tab S2 is still stuck on Android 5.0.2. I'm waiting for Samsung to release it OTA than installing firmware intended/released for a different market. Thanks.

Post UK G Pad 8.3 (V500) - Bricked. Decryption unsuccessful, won't load TWRP either. Help?

Fixed. I tapped Cancel when it asked for the Encryption password and TWRP loaded. I could then Factory Reset it. I've no idea what caused the data to corrupt when encrypting in the first place but it's working again.

Post [Q] Best procedure for flashing Optimized CM12.1 on to the UK GT-I9505 (JFLTEXX)?

Thanks for the quick reply again. There is no 2.8.7.0 TAR file in that link, just a 2.8.6.0 TAR file :). * I presume I should install 2.8.6.0 TAR then install the 2.8.7.0 IMG file on top from inside TWRP? * OR better yet install 2.8.6.0 TAR using Odin then install 2.8.7.0-F2FS ZIP from inside...

Thread [Q] Best procedure for flashing Optimized CM12.1 on to the UK GT-I9505 (JFLTEXX)?

I successfully flashed CM11 on to my LG G Pad 8.3 without issue so I've done this before (but most of the downloads had Batch files to automate things) but want to still be sure of the procedure. My I9505 was recently upgraded OTA to Android 5.0.1 along with Samsung's TouchWiz. Hopefully this...

Thanks for this. Why are the optimized builds so far behind? The latest CM12.1 optimized build for the S4 looks to be 2015-06-16 but there's a regular CM12.1 nightly dated 2015-06-25.

I'd rather stick with a stable ROM that's been signed off and had some quality control applied to it for that very reason. I prefer to just install a ROM and be done with it (maybe upgrading every now and again OTA) :). Like you say otherwise you could be fine (probably) or maybe not...
