I just don't think there's a be all and end all on a phone camera, yet. For any phone. This.phone has a very good camera and I'm really happy with it now. So, I'm not really fussed about it any more.

The update is that I'm a lot happier with the V30 camera than I was at first. The reality is that the GCam by default does better on auto with motion, but only slightly. Using burst mode on the v30 helps. Portrait mode on the GCam looks great on a phone, but on a monitor not so much and...

So, took some GCam Portrait Mode pics today. Look great on the phone. Not so good on the monitor. Files are VERY compressed. My V30 files look very good on the monitor.

What's peek? I use the always on display for this phone. Works well. I'm actually kinda liking not looking at the led notifier all for the time.

I mean I miss it, but the good outweighs the bad on this phone. It's been less of a huge deal then I thought it would be.

Agreed 100%. Going to Fuji or any other mirrorless system (I've always been an Olympus, even pre mirrorless, guy) is one of the best moves you can make. Enjoy that beauty Fuji.

Sounds good. I'm running exchange calendar and exchange email through third party apps, but I think they still run through LG, which is bloody annoying. A bit of trial and error.comong up I suppose.

Sure. Maybe. It depends what you're looking for. I just took two photos: one using the V30 stock auto and one using the GC Portrait Mode. V30 has more detail. GCam compresses the photos a ton. GCam has warmer colours. GCam is more "postcard-like". So, again, depends what you mean by...

Felt like the glue was only at the top 3rd. Will return and try again. If it works, it seems like the best option --- despite the price.

It works well. I happen to be liking the v30 camera a lot, but this is nice to have too.

I tried installing the Whitestone today but the glue doesn't expand to the whole screen maybe covered 2/3ds of the protector. Looks silly now. And a third of the screen is unglued. Did you face that? I'm back to the Ringke Fusion. Mea culpa on that one. It's good.

I applied the New Flex. Cleanly. Screen looks like junk now, though. Distorted. Did that problem go away for you?

There's an option in greenify to turn off screen by long press on home button, which works pretty well.

I would have gotten the 5T, but I like having an underdog phone. :). Can't help myself. Switching phones is too annoying. Too much setup.

Hah. It's a smidgen of bulk, but I feel the difference. I didn't like the way the fingerprint reader felt below the Ringke. Just a personal preference thing. I can't bring myself to pay the $$$ for the Whitestone. Did you have the bubble issue?

Neo Flex. Yeah. I have a cheapo clear case that I like better than the Spigen and Ringke. Less bulk.

Has anyone figured out how to do to knock off screen with Nova Launcher? I can get Knock On but not Knock Off, which is annoying because the only other way to turn the screen of is to use the power button (unless there's something I'm not aware off).

Hard to say. 6P was awesome until the last 6-8 months. At first it was an all day beast. I'm on the road a lot with my phone, but wanted the music and photo features of the V30. Wish the battery was a little better. My wife has a OnePlus 5T and the battery seems very very strong on that...

I'll try greenify. It's my main business phone. So, only so much I can do. I need some kind of ambient display without LED notification. So, AOD stays, but flipping the phone over when I don't need to look at the phone helps.

24 hours and this case is annoying. Fits great, but the sensitivity on the screen has gone downhill.

I get banding in the camera when in manual mode. Haven't experienced it in auto mode yet, but TBD. I thought it was on screen only, but now I'm getting it in output. So weird. Heads cut out for privacy.
