as far as I know, when used in host mode, the USB cannot be used to provide power to the tablet, only can the USB device connected via OTG receive power from the tablet.

I got this working, but I want to use it with Pie Controls. I have tried logcat, and looking for a command/app that launches so I can use rom toolbox to launch from the back button being held down. It didn't work, I did find something in the logcat that I thought might work. any ideas?

it will work, but the only issue you will run into is the fact that you waill have to deal with the soft keys bring switched about. the droid 3's housing is way to different to switch. i have a moto droid 1 with a droid 2 motherboard, and the keys are switched about. the dpad in the droid 2...

you need to replace the LCD. i had this same problem when i droped mine on the ground. if your good with tools and taking things arpart, it can be done. if not you can look for people on CL to fix it for you. that runs abouts $30. you can find the lcd replacement here.

if its hardware, the camera is seprate from the motherboard, it would be very easy to replace, just pull apart, pull out the motherboard, replace the camera, it just pops off the motherbaord.
