Ah cool, thanks!
I will try that out.
Yup i knew the S Tab doesn't have a pen digitize like Wacom or N-Trig which is a shame especially for the premium price you pay.
Damn evernote doesn't have software palm rejection. haha
Installed the new Omega.
Anybody know how to fix this?
Wifi Battery Drain, although I switched it off in the menus, however if I go to the Battery screen and show the break down, it shows Wifi has been on for the entire time.
It is strange, it all happened when I upgraded to Kitkat
Using the...
If anybody is having trouble with lockscreens on old bootloader. Where most of the lockscreen options are greyed out.
Try this... it fixed it for me:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50690966&postcount=2754
I've got the same issue with the lockscreen.
Cannot choose anythng other than PIN or Password, even trying to choose one of those doesn't work.
I am using ML1 Bootloader + Modem is ML1 + Z Patched Jeboo Kernel + V23 Omega.
I have tried factory resetting it (Erase Data / Cache / Dalvik) still...
I'm currently on v23.
Everything works and quite smoothly however anybody know the fix for this:
Lock screen stuck on Swipe.
The other options are greyed out with comments "Disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage."
It only allows me to choose PIN or Password...
I tried flashing it with full wipe on old MH1 bootloader.
The original kernel doesn't work, no sound no wifi.
The modified Z Patched kernel which supposedly should work, only fixes wifi, but no sound.
When you try to set the volume, it freezes for alittle while then opens the volume slider, but...
I have this one, but in Blue.
It is a good fit, and also has smart case magnets to turn screen on and off.
I bought mine off Ali Express.

The reason I didn't buy this one is because there is heaps of...
If there was, then we wouldn't have the issue with Wifi not working without newest Bootloader.
As the newest 4.4 firmware is a leak, the kernel source code wasn't released. Hence why there is no custom kernels based off this firmware yet.
I did find this page which explains how Knox Works and they 'say' they use a eFuse
https://www.samsungknox.com/en/blog/about-rooting-samsung-knox-enabled-devices-and-knox-warranty-void-bit
The question is: When will this be released?
Maybe another 6 months away for all we know, as there hasn't been any "official" announcement.
They prob gave the tab to Google as it may seem more lucrative for LG since the sales of the G Pad wasn't as good as they thought it would have been.
Look...
It doesn't weigh twice as much, LOL! Either that or somehow LG got away with advertising it at 338g.
Nexus 7
Wi-Fi only: 290 g (10 oz)
Cellular model: 299 g (10.5 oz)
LG G Pad 8.3
Wi-Fi only: 338 g (12 oz)
Also if you base it on Sound, hmmmm no tablet speakers will satisfy audiophilles.
I...
The no brand Ebay ones are usually very crappy, and scratch quite easily.
The XtremeGuard ones.... i find they are strong, however they make the screen grippy.
Wished SGP Spigen would make one for this device, their screen protectors are awesome.
You need to reactivate it by going to About Device in your settings menu, then press on the "BUILD NUMBER" button like 3 times then it will activate developer menu.
Its most likely a design issue. Which I don't think they can fix it without recalling every LG G Pad.
Its not REALLY that bad, slightly noticeable when watching a video in letter box (when the background is black), but it isn't super bright so it won't really annoy you.
If you play games most...
Nothing wrong with my one.
Tried several system stability tests one after another.
Brightness at 100%. Screen was on the whole time.
The full test including cpu/3d etc ran successfully.
Maybe yours is defective.
Used to be a Apple Fan-Woman.....
Converted her to a Android Chick.
She hated the Galaxy S2, but loved the Galaxy Note 2.
Now she refuses to buy Apple Products and hates iTunes after feeling the freedom of not having to use any software to upload her music.
Anybody have a fix for the issue where the wireless data keeps jumping around between 3G/H/H+?
When i monitor the signal it is still the same, but the mobile data keeps jumping around.
Any ideas?
I was thinking of either Galaxy Note 8.0 or LG G Tab 8.3
Both have white version.
Not sure how good the Dev support will be on LG G Tab 8.3......
From what I can see:
LG Tab has higher res and better build quality with the metal backing.
Galaxy Note 8 has the S Pen.
LG's track record with...
Haha sadly my woman finds 7" too small, and 8" to be the perfect size.
However she is willing to let that slide as long as its White (damn women and their stubborness with color instead of hardware)
To her, If a tablet isn't white then it is inferior to any tablet that is white!
Hi,
Anybody know of a tablet which will fit this description?
1. High Res Screen: 1080p (or above)
2. World Wide Brand (not some small china brand like Ainol or something)
3. Color: Must have a white version
4. Preferably 2GB RAM and Quad Core Processor (or Intel Proc)
5. Screen Size: 7 inch or...
Only issue i have with the new Rom is:
Internet Icon keeps jumping between 3G/H/H+
Didn't happen in the version pre 4.3.
The signal strength always stays the same when it is jumping around.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Any chance of getting a 4.3 TW Omega with Note 3 Apps?
Looks like these guys are doing a great job with the Note 3 apps.

That comes with the territory of using the newest and latest. Omega was based in 4.2 which has been around for like half a year, it is bound to be extremely good and stable since it had so much time to clean itself up.
4.3 was only released 2 days ago and you expect it to be as stable as a OS...
If you read previous posts in this thread, you need to flash it through odin several times until it switches the modem.
You need to ensure you SHUTDOWN the device then cold boot into Download Mode, do not restart and boot into Download Mode.
In Odin, use the Phone option, not the PDA option...
I was having some lag issues in V12 and some FCs.
Figured that was prob due to the constant dirty upgrades between each Omega release.
Installed Phizz CWM, did a factory reset with the "install new rom" option.
Wiped Dalvik and Cache.
Installed V13 and it all works fine. I installed the new...
Yea i don't seem to find it anywhere in there.
I heard that for some odd reason NFC Payment only works on ODEX'd roms, once it gets DEODEX'd it breaks it and makes it FC's.
NFC doesn't seem to be working for me on V7.
When i turn it on, there is no icon.
When i hit the NFC Payment to switch from SIM to phone, it FC's the settings.
Anybody know the fix?
most likely won't come international. Samsung always releases a korea only version, as their networks are generally more advanced then the rest of the world (not as good as Japan's networks though).
Wifi is not a kernel issue.
Its when the kernel doesn't recognise the baseband.
If you align the baseband (e.g. modem) to the kernel it will fix your wifi issues.
As far as I know the Adam kernel isn't using the newer kernels as a base, and may not have the fixes that Samsung put in (after MEA...
