Rooting doesn't wipe the device. However if you are thinking of going to a non-stock based rom then you are best to full wipe the device.

If there was, then we wouldn't have the issue with Wifi not working without newest Bootloader. As the newest 4.4 firmware is a leak, the kernel source code wasn't released. Hence why there is no custom kernels based off this firmware yet.

After going to Omega 21 with the new bootloader, can you downgrade to omega 19?

The no brand Ebay ones are usually very crappy, and scratch quite easily. The XtremeGuard ones.... i find they are strong, however they make the screen grippy. Wished SGP Spigen would make one for this device, their screen protectors are awesome.

You need to reactivate it by going to About Device in your settings menu, then press on the "BUILD NUMBER" button like 3 times then it will activate developer menu.

Nothing wrong with my one. Tried several system stability tests one after another. Brightness at 100%. Screen was on the whole time. The full test including cpu/3d etc ran successfully. Maybe yours is defective.

Only issue i have with the new Rom is: Internet Icon keeps jumping between 3G/H/H+ Didn't happen in the version pre 4.3. The signal strength always stays the same when it is jumping around. Any ideas how to fix this?

If you read previous posts in this thread, you need to flash it through odin several times until it switches the modem. You need to ensure you SHUTDOWN the device then cold boot into Download Mode, do not restart and boot into Download Mode. In Odin, use the Phone option, not the PDA option...

Yea i don't seem to find it anywhere in there. I heard that for some odd reason NFC Payment only works on ODEX'd roms, once it gets DEODEX'd it breaks it and makes it FC's.

Wifi is not a kernel issue. Its when the kernel doesn't recognise the baseband. If you align the baseband (e.g. modem) to the kernel it will fix your wifi issues. As far as I know the Adam kernel isn't using the newer kernels as a base, and may not have the fixes that Samsung put in (after MEA...
