I was having the same issue with gsam... However I don't think the media server is actually draining anything. If you go to the built in battery stats it doesn't show up on the list. Also if you download better battery stats its not actually causing a wake lock. It may be an issue with the app...

Anybody notice strange readings in there battery monitor of choice? I tend to use gsam to track usage and that kind of stuff... For some reason I'm seeing media server using extreme amounts of battery but the drain is minimal from an actual battery standpoint... On WiFi without using the screen...

That's strange... I didn't try to add a new apn, was able to go into the Verizon one and alter it, save it and reboot. My idiot friends send a lot of those group texts and I find if I don't alter it they will get stuck in "downloading" from time to time. Sent from my S4

I missed the original post and question, but if you're looking to get into the APN settings you can download an app called "change apn" from the play store... It'll take you into the apns even if it's not located in the settings. I alter mine on all cm roms to improve mms with Verizon. Sent...
