    Thread [Q] Flashing stock firmware with Odin (Snapdragon)?

    I'm wondering why I have to flash stock firmware in Odin and then immediately afterwards, do a factory reset in Recovery Mode for the s8. With the s7, you could just flash the stock firmware in Odin and be good, everything becomes reset. Is there something different with the s8?

    Thread [Q] If I flash an unlocked US firmware (G930U) onto my S7, could I switch carriers?

    I could download the unlocked US firmware from updato.com and flash it through Odin and then switch carriers by inserting a different SIM card, right?
