I can see that for some people this doesn't work. I also never had issues with Gapps. I used everytime BitGAPPS, and from now on bitgapps will never install properly. So I only use the OpenGAPPS, by flashing magisk first. Hope it gets resolved too!

Who knows. But if you want to properly install gapps: Flash rom Flash Magisk Then flash GApps ;) Hope this helps everyone out here.

I mean it's safe if you do it step by step. I do it on every phone I own. For me warranty is not my thing, I barely drop my phone and I've never experienced any hardware problems in my life... It's about you. What do you want ? :silly:

If you are reffering to anyone upload vbmeta for RedmiNote8 then yes the original. I think that vbmeta is also inside the ROM and you can just grab it. QUOTE FROM UNOFFICIAL TWRP FOR REDMI NOTE 8 : if it's the first time you flash the TWRP or you are getting problems of TWRP lost or device...

As a user of S8,S8+ and other android phones, my earphones work perfectly without any audio loss. Same with my PC. But with my redmi note 8 on MIUI, I have some audio loss. I can feel it in my ears :cyclops: . What I have experienced is that with any AOSP 9 or 10 roms, the audio is perfect like...

From fastboot, flash vbmeta.img, then flash twrp, and follow the instructions. Once you flash the rom flash disabledmverity and you should be good from now on!

grab the one from lineage, that's what I did works great!

Before flashing twrp flash vbmeta.img from fastboot then flash twrp, reb ot manually to twrp, allow modification, rebbot, recivery then flash dmnoverity and reboot system

You must flash vbmeta.img from the bootloader before you flash twrp and after flashing the rom flash dm no verity and then you will not have system is destroyed message, it will bypass it.

I also experience the same problem with MIUI. Installing other kernels didnt solved the problem. Only with custom roms I could get the 100% power of my headset, really strange.

I did clean install with nikgapps, bitgapps and opengapps. None of them got me the Setup to setup my phone as a new device. The phone just boots to the homescreen! Very strange I don't know what to do tbh... :rolleyes:

Very good job and very smooth rom. But I have a question. Why in almost all roms like this one, first boot has never the SETUP that it used to have. I usually flash NikGAPPS or BitGAPPS but even with the official GAPPS the setup will never show. It is really annoying because I want to restore...

No problem! To be honest it is a little bit buggy :/ but sometimes it works. From what I remember you should also have Permisssive Linux. To do this you must have root and download an app that does the job.

I aggree that eu rom has no chinese bloatware but, if you want to get rid for example the MIUI Gallery, you can just remove it with ADB command.

The confusing part is that I'm the only one having this problem and also the dev saying it is already there ?! Anyways. Right now im on stock miui the dialer is working. I am going to make a backup of the incallui and flash the rom again. I will update you! Thanks for the quick response :good...

Sir I did go to the exact folder and for some kind of reason there is no folder InCallUI. I even changed 2 ROMS, none of them had it. I am installing stock MIUI 11 from Fastboot right now, and then TWRP and this ROM again, hope it will get fixed. :confused: :confused:

I will try to reinstall the ROM... Where can I find that exactly? I've searched and I can't find anything.. :rolleyes:

Bugs Hello everyone! I can confirm that the hauxing bug with the fringeprint etc and other bootloops are fixed and the os is running like a boss. The only bug is the front facing camera which is not working and also causes gcam not to run..
