It is working fine for me. Try this. While playing music through speakers, goto kernel adiutor and set speaker gain to -20 You should be then able to distinguish the audio clearly.

Just set +3 gain for headphone using kernel adiutor and you'll be fine.

You can use MatLog app for that. In the search bar, type 24 or 192000. If you get some logs which contain either of these, then you got 24bit. Else in terminal, type - su dumpsys media.audio_flinger And check for the steam which says- Standby:no Processing format: pcm24

Many of the tweaks which were added in audiophile has been added to the default option itself. Audiophile mode was a test build and it worked fine. So I have patched the default mode mixer files and included audiophile tweaks. Feel the shox effect!

shox is only for kenzo and zuk z2. Mido support might be added in the future if I replace my kenzo with it.

Shadow kernel is by far the best kernel for 2gb kenzo. The ram management is the best in this kernel compared to all the others. So enjoy more free ram and better multitask with this kernel.

Sur, the bootloop on oreo roms maybe due to asoc backported commits added to prove audio. Theres a useless commit which might be causing this issue.

Try flashing AGNi kernel. That might improve the sound for you. And don't use output gain in v4a. It just adds noise.

Use performance profile in spectrum It offers Smooth af ux and very low latency.

Our kenzo got an intelligent power ic and neglects those "insane" values. Don't undervolt too much. What radon does by default is the best minimum for good performance and stability.

This could be due to faulty motherboard. If changing the speakers didn't work, then it should be the Mobo. I'm not sure tho!

Try the acoustic biquad. Sounds too good for me. And neutral ain't recommended unless you feel that the stock bass is too much as it reduces bass.

Sd650 and sd625 have the same dac and amp. And surprisingly, the same rx paths! So you can flash shox and try it out yourself. Make sure to take a nandroid backup before flashing if things go wrong.
