I recommend you to install the TWRP flashable version of stock ROM before switching between a7/a8 ROMs to a9/a10/a11 and viceversa (Stock Nougat for a7/a8 and Oreo for a9+). So you don't loose fingerprint nor face microphone issues. It's easier and quicker than fastboot flashing individual parts...

@Nyakov I built it with signature spoofing support, so you will be able to install microG without inconvenients (with minmicroG, magisk or by hand)

I have never needed SafetyNet so I don't know, but being plain LineageOS I don't think it will. Mint-OS (https://sf.net/projects/motog5/files/MintOS/) is based on LinegeOS 17.1 and it was known to pass, but it's unmaintained now.

Android 7 and Android 8 ROMs need Stock Nougat as firmware base. Android 9 and later ROMs need Stock Oreo. If you switch from 7/8 to 9/+ and vice versa you will need to flash the proper stock version before in order to keep fingerprint functionality. TWRP flashable stock is ok and simple.
