To sideload full android apps I use ADB on my laptop. This uses the laptops usb link to my phone, my phone then "pushes" and installs the apk files to the watch via bluetooth. You start with the apks on the laptop and use the correct ADB commands to install to the watch. Slow, but it works...

I did ask earlier but never got a reply....can anyone help? Does the watch cut off the sims 3g/2g signal when the screen goes blank? Like it does with wifi, apparently.

So, if I put a valid sim card in the watch, I will lose the data connection when the screen times out? Have I got that right? I use the same sim in the UK in a ZGPax S8 for data and calls/sms without any problems.

Can I ask an unrelated question? (As you have an S8 and a D5). How strong is the vibrate on an D5? I have an S8 and the vibrate is too weak to be reliable. An Android Wear Sony Smartwatch 3 has a much stronger vibrate. How does the vibrate on the D5 compare with the S8?

Push Notifications simply dont work for me, two red symbols for push with good internet (wifi, 2 seperate locations) for both watch and phone. Do Push Notifications work for anyone else? Or has the developer pulled a plug somewhere and i'm fighting a losing battle? Ive read this entire thread...

To play offline music I use an Android Wear app called Wear Media. Its free and works really well with a volume control. Sideloading ES File manager seems a hard way to acheive what you are trying to do...or am I missing something?

Just a minor change....if Aeroplane mode is ON and you switch Wifi ON you cant switch it off again until you switch Aeroplane mode off. You could before the update.

My new Smartwatch 3 has just used 45% battery in 1 hour and 5 minutes using Ghostracer. No music or anything else. Low power screen option selected. That useage strikes me as a bit high.

Just a final footnote...I was incorrect...using DLNA DOES flatten your battery just as quickly as watching the video on your watch. Either way its about 1% a minute!!

So... in the last few posts both Stevar and Senectus have been hit with a battery drain after revoking debugging...have I understood that right? And with Senectus the daily reboot after charging did appear to be working? If you dont mind me asking how long had the daily reboot after recharging...

So, now that the revoke debugging option appears to have failed to stop the battery drain, is the "reboot after charging to 100%" the only proceedure left to be disproved. A few posters said they were trying this approach but none have said if the daily charge/reboot was helping.
