I was able to restore to stock via RSD_Lite_Motorola_XML_To_Batch_Script.zip, apparently the flashall utility might not flash all the files I needed. Or perhaps it was because I flashed Oreo on top of Nougat.

I have this issue with many phones. the easiest way I found was sticking those cheap plastic screen protector on the screen. it unpolarizes the screen. the glass ones might do the same too, but I haven't tried.

Thank you for the reply. Attached is the bug report. I played the video using software decoder, then tried to switch to HW, it tells me HW decoder is not supported, and I pulled the report right after.

I have the mx player pro. recently acquired the LG G Pad 8.0 x. I could not get the mx player to play my gopro 4 silver videos at 2.7k 30p (protune turned on) using hw or hw+. the software decoder is not able to playback without serious lag. I searched the forum for LG G pad but didn't find...

I was hoping I missed something, or some settings I'm not aware of. Looking for anyone else who have a gopro and tried playing 2.7k video on their G Pad and got good results. If no one can play, then yea, I agree the app dev needs to look at this.

I'm not able to play gopro videos using Mx player under hw or hw+. It would only do software. 2.7k videos under software decoder is laggy as hell. If anyone finds a way to get hw or hw+ to work, please share!

Does anyone know if this phone will work in Japan? I want to order a sim with data only to use as a mobile wifi. There are shops that sell you short term sims for data only usage.

thanks again. seems like it'll be easy to try out this rom then. I came from JB, so I Odin to nf4 then rerooted and put on the Jedi rom. so right now I have the latest twrp and all the tools needed to switch around. but it's easier than I thought.

I use it for my action cam to link up to the phone for live video feed. Also occasional file transfers. It seems like there are no options at the moment for MM. Best I can find is modded stock KitKat rom. I read so many battery issues with Lillipop, I'm trying to steer clear.

Since there are no official MM support for TMO Note 3, what options are we left with for MM Roms for Note 3. I would like to retain the use of the s-pen and NFC. Any recommendations?

This worked for me. I had to turn off wifi after I turned on wifi calling for the signal to appear. Then I turned wifi back on, bars disappear again, turned off wifi calling, bars appeared.

I never turn off 3g/4g. I read a post earlier in the thread where someone changed his wifi router power setting from max to custom. On my DD-WRT, there's only dbm setting, I changed it from 20 to 18 to see if that does anything.

So I JUST switched over to the ATT CleanRom today but it's discontinued lol. Anyone have any experience switching from ATT CleanRom to ACE? Do I have to wipe everything? I just spent the afternoon reinstalling everything today.

Since this is stock based rom, does this mean it supports aptX? If so, how can I check if it is using aptX? I tried logcat -v long to look for connection messages suggest by other threads but I don't see anything when I turn on the aptX device (HS3000)
