You were right. It was easier to setup Ubuntu although I have to start adb as root otherwise I see a whole bunch of question marks when I run adb devices. I did try to add the permissions but it don't matter seem to matter . any ideas.?

Noob question. I noticed that wifi never disconnects when the device goes in powersave mode on the latest (12/31) CM10 build. is that a known issue? I apologize if i have missed any post on this earlier. Is there a setting to make it sleep?

I have swype working just fine on CM7. i installed it on nightly 12 and its working ever since. You just need the apk and the .so. Some people have got it working w/o the .so but I needed it. no issues with swyping whatsoever. maybe because i use a screen protector but not sure.

Yes it works on nightly12 for me. There is a thread in the Theme and Apps section where you can find details.. I think it worked with just the apk for a few people. I had to add the .so as well.

Just in case you are interested. there is an AIRPLANE_MODE_ON setting in Settings.db. you can just set the flag to 0 and the icon will go away. I could never find an app that could fix this issue but if you found one thats great.

I am not sure how it works for some of you guys without the .so but i had to copy that into system/lib in addition to the apk. I am on CM7 nightly 12. its working fine now. LCD density 161. Shared object file can be found by googling for "Swype on gtablet".

I think BN runs a big risk of bad reviews and reps if they are caught selling refurbs as new. Its probably not worth it but who knows. This worked fine form me.. and I did create a backup from CM7. I have backups from previous CWR on the same card. In case I want to wipe out my sd card, Do you know if these backups can be copied to my pc and back? I do have a different bootable SD card with the latest CWR.

Looks good so far. default Kernel (or whichever one is included) is not causing wifi disconnects for me. Can see video (avi) for the first time. You tube does not work. XDA app still crashes when logged in.
