Damn, doesn't support ExFat eh? Can't mount 64g card. (yeah, proprietary modules, etc.. etc..) I'll throw the 32g in & check out the rom.

    Post ** Remove The Locked & Hidden APNS & Tethering T-Mobile APN's! - New Updated XML **

Modified #1 to suit my needs (didn't want to buy pro key for Titanium). ES File explorer is free and can mount system as r/w as well as edit files ,etc... Used that to move the APN B&R apk file from /data/app to /system/app (pretty sure this is what "convert to system app" does), as well as...

Post Wifi Tether Fully Working COnfirmed!

I have 'wifi tether for root users" working on JB (CM nightly 9/2), but I often have to start it a few times before anything can see the access point. This happened on stock ICS once in a while as well though.

    Post Incipio Silicrylic Review (Blue)

Just got my black/black today and am happy with it so far. It does add a significant thickness to the phone, but I have big hands, so not a problem. Also adds good grip without being too grippy to cause pocket problems. Plus with how many cracks from the corners I've read about, I'd rather have...

Post [HOWTO] [ROOT] No Tripping Flash Counter [Tmobile / Wind / Mobilicity / Videotron]

So, I've downloaded the T-mobile image (slowly), and each time the MD5 is wrong, on both the .7z file, and once extracted to the .tar (checked both). Also, the "wrong" values I got were exactly the same for both download attempts, using multiple md5 checking apps.

Post Anyone using a Zagg Screen Protector?

Everything I've read says it does. http://www.google.com/search?q="HTC+sensation"+"gorilla+glass" Although it seems I was mistaken or mis-remembering about the HD2 having it. Not GG, but just an extremely scratch-resistant display. Still, since I bought it at US release, it doesn't...

Post Speaker Volume on S-off sensation

Great question, imho. Still have my HD2 (soon upgrading to Sens.), and I'm well aware of the volume level being all over the place with different roms. It seemed as if they weren't even aware, although with all the complaints I don't understand how. Volume+ is a band-aid workaround, while the...

Post Anyone using a Zagg Screen Protector?

Honest question: Whats the point of screen protectors for this phone? From what I've read, the Sensation has the same Gorilla glass as my HD2, which in my experience doesn't scratch in most circumstances. Anything that would scratch the screen probably would also get through any of the...

Post [Q] internet pass through for roms without sence

Passthrough? Are you talking about tethering? Many Roms have stock tethering working, but those that don't often link to http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/ There is a USB version as well http://code.google.com/p/android-wired-tether/downloads/list I believe that is the link most...

Post [Q] Do you Have Protector Screen in your HD2?

It's highly resistant to scratches. I don't have a single scratch, no protector, and have had the phone since they came out in the US. Of course, being glass, it still possible to scratch if you try hard enough.

Post [Q] Most Optimized Gingerbread ROM for HD2?

I've tried CM7 nightlies and tytung's rom, both have issues last I checked (last week). Tytung build seemed great, but just had the phone app lockup/issue mid-call (perhaps it's fixed by now). I settled on Tyween's TyphooN CM7 "nightly" build, and have had no issues at all since the install.

FYI, if it helps any, for a test I just downloaded a 414mb file, saved to SD card, and had no issues, twice in succession. I'm using tyween's TyphooN CM7 nightly (3.3.3), Magldr 1.13, & CWM. Radio 2.12.50.02_2

Post NETFLIX DISABLES DEVICE CHECK!!!! - [HowTo] Get Netflix working on Nook Color

I'm using a rather old nightly (update-cm-7.0.3-encore-signed.zip (5/8)), and it's working just fine. Downloaded market version, and playback is perfect, tethered to HD2 wifi. No audio issues. Was considering upgrading to a newer nightly, but with the audio issues, perhaps I'll wait. That, and...

Post Anyone successfully removed DRM from B&N-purchased eBook?

It's not much different that what we do here on XDA every day - bypass phone protections/security/lockdowns/etc... Hell, rooting a phone to enable tethering could be considered "theft of services". Anyway, I don't know of anything directly, but googled "remove B&N drm" and got quite a few...

Post Banding on images/backgrounds with gradients?

You know, there were a lot of people who noticed banding on the HD2 roms, and it did seem to vary between various roms. I never really noticed it (perhaps I used the good roms), so didn't follow it much, and couldn't say if there was a fix. But, there should be many threads on it in the HD2...

Not trying to piss in anyone's Cheerios, but they probably didn't see nor care about an online petition, especially with only 7000 sigs. That's a drop in the ocean. Trust me, a company like HTC isn't going to make such an announcement on a whim, it's gonna go through the company ranks for...

Quite useful, imho. Lets you control what has access to whatever network access you're connected to. Many apps want network access when there's no real reason for them to have it. But... it's not really new. DroidWall has been around for a while now, it's just a bit more manual to setup (app...

Post [Q] What is the most stable rom as of 4/25/2011

CM7 is nice, but I'm seriously considering going back to the Froyo SD I had as it's battery life was excellent. With CM7, battery is constantly drained to the point where it won't turn on until I charge it. With the Froyo version, I could forget about it for most of a week or so, and still be...

Post [Q] Charging on CM7 With A Non Nook Charger

Definitely seems software/driver issue. For me, the Nookie Froyo SD build had great battery time, and would slow-charge from a normal USB cable plugged into laptop. I know this because 1. It would charge, and 2. If it was fast-charging as normal, and pulling too many milliamps from the laptop...

    Post [Q] USB Port

It can be replaced, by people quite skilled in surface-mount solder working, but the problem usually isn't with the port itself, it's that the copper traces often get broken or even ripped off the circuit board.

Post HD2 - the smallest phone with the biggest screen

It could also come down to manufacturing costs. A slightly bigger phone might end up cheaper to produce than a smaller, but more densely packed phone. Since most of these companies only truly care about the bottom line, it could be a pretty valid reason.

  42. D

Post [Q] micro usb connectivty problems

On similar hardware, often times that is an issue with the internal jack being tweaked too often and breaking the solder connections, or the copper traces themselves. From the tear-down pics, it's all surface mount, which means if it IS the jack, you're most likely SOL if not under warranty.

Aquapel seems to be better than Rain-X (lasts a bit longer under heavy wiper usage). I haven't switched back once I tried it. Wonder if it would also work in this aspect as well (possibly better too).
