I flashed the March 12 build and everything is working great BUT it looks like this problem with /etc/nvram_net.txt and not recognizing 5 GHz networks has resurfaced. Any chance you could have a look at his sometime joshndroid? Really appreciate your work on this awesome ROM.

Hey joshndroid. Every time I flash a new version of this my 5GHz WiFi does not work and I have to modify /etc/nvram_net.txt to get it to work. Is there any reason that you cannot change the values for ccode & regrev to 'US' and '5' in the rom? Does that screw up the WiFi for everyone outside...

I've been using 2.8.5.0 for ages and have never had any problems with it. I get the impression that I'm in a minority here though.

No, the test version that you posted here does not work. It boots but the display is distorted and it is unresponsive. 2.8.6.0 on twrp.me works fine for me, but only when I flash the Odin file. The .ZIP does not work. Sorry for the confusion

This is not the same 2.8.6.0 as on twrp.me. I just flashed the twrp.me version after flashing the one here (and soft bricking like you), wiped cache and all was well.

Gave it a shot but it still did not work. Used slim mini gapps. Got the weird error at start up and the messed up apns. Clean flashed the 1211 rom with gapps and SuperSU. Thanks!
