This exact same thing happened to me. I installed the January 9th update and last night, finally rebooted and now I have the FRP lock issue.

Thank you Deltadroid. After extracting everything and flashing with Heimdall, I booted and the tablet booted into a black screen pretty much. Then, I rebooted into recovery with ADB, installed the 20170404 update, rebooted and now I'm good. Is this normal that in addition to flashing updated...

So how does the firmware update thing work? I'm running the 20170321 build. Can I upgrade to one of the newer builds without having to flash the new firmware? If not, any resources someone can point me to regarding flashing firmware?
