Netflix will cast fine if you have a chromecast but doesn't work locally yet. The video zoom issue is much improved - YouTube works great, prime video works, Facebook video works but still a bit buggy (videos sometimes play at half speed, sometimes need reloading to work fullscreen). ;)...

Similar experience... The last 100% stable rom I used was a TouchWiz based 4.4.2... since then tried many roms - this is by far the best but I still get random FC mostly playing clash Royale... I think video driver related? (no problem with play services) Tried slim last week which was great...

Fantastic rom... stuck with newer cm based builds for the last year, constantly hoping that the next update would solve the freezing and crashing and finally jumped back to this a couple of weeks ago... as much as I miss the pure Google look, this rom really does kick ass. Smooth, responsive...

Update: lasted 4 hours before fc came back, but clearing cache in apps again solves it... :)

POSSIBLE FIX! sounds ridiculous but I just cleared the play services cache in apps and went from constant fc to zero.... Wiping cache and dalvik in twrp did not help however.

I just installed the apk (dirty install straight from the download) and if anything it made things worse...

Play FC's have returned for me too - not sure of specific apps but empires and allies & Facebook have intermittent issues for sure - aosp keyboard constantly fc if i swipe as well. I may try a different gapps tonight if I have time.

New update working fabulously! Thanks vasumit! Definitely suggest a clean flash though - I dirty flashed, had the play services fc issue, tried to restore and my tab locked up on the boot screen - took a battery pull and wipe to recover but now smoother than ever.

Its a known issue with dust in your proximity sensor. For me blowing it out with compressed air through the ear grill fixed it otherwise google for disassembly or recalibration instructions.

FYI my speed dial started out white as per everyone's comments, but within a day was back to normal... Working perfectly. N900W8 5.2

Had this happen on another LP ROM a few weeks ago - crashed repeatedly over 30min then died. I hadnt changed any settings in days. A battery pull solved it completely. Please let us know if the 40 seconds does the trick, I doubt I held it for more than 20.

Common problem with dust in the proximity sensor - likely not rom related. If you are lucky can be fixed by blowing it out through the earpiece, just Google it.

Drain below 10% then leave to charge fully, overnight should do the trick. That solves it for me, and yes happens on stock too - nothing to do with cm. :)

Test the proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.... If you have any "pocket mode" or active display features active in your rom try disabling those... Sounds like your warranty is definitely void but you could take it to a local independent shop if samsung wants too much to fix it. Good...
