Nope, don’t have esim or volte. Funny I recall seeing volte when I was still on the W firmware. The only real benefit I think I got is probably the enabling of the 5G bands needed on T-Mobile. RCS is also enabled in google messages but again I don’t use regular messaging. Flashed regular CSC...

You folks should know that running a U or U1 fw in Canada makes you miss out on some carrier related features because the U and U1 are for USA. So LTE bands might be missing, WiFi calling, spam detection, Volte, etc...some or all of those features will be missing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I believe branding is put in effect based on the SIM card in the phone. If your CSC is ok, they your phone should connect to the network. Try putting a Verizon card in your phone, if that's what you mvno is using as the carrier. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk

Hi all, I want to revert my G955 U1/ XAA back to its original Canadian fw g955W/VTR. However I’m on the latest fw that uses BL5. I assume, I have to wait for the v5 factory bin file to come out before I can do the carrier switch?

Anyone? Can the guide still be followed if on bootloader 5? Is there a new factory binary to use?
