Benchmarks isn't the end all be all. Basically if you want a phone that scores high benchmarks then the iPhone is for you.

I don't really trust SOT from most people on XDA. It is so easy to fake that kind of screen on time with black screens. I never got close to that with my Note 8. Most I have ever got was 5hrs SOT. And that was me actually trying to stretch battery life.

I only paid $750, after trading in a device I had laying around. Plus the $200 headphones for pre-ordering makes it a little sweeter. The battery life alone makes this a worthy upgrade for me, assuming it will live up to the hype. And I don't think Sammy is going to get rid of the Note series...

The first charge was just a pre-authorization charge. They will recharge the card once the phone ships. The phone will ship when it ships. Hopefully soon.

I think the unlocked model through Samsung will work worldwide for the most part. Wifi calling and visual voicemail never worked for me on unlocked phones besides the Google Pixel. But that doesn't bother me. So I don't think it will be no different on the S9.

I could tether fine with my unlocked Note 8. No FoxFi was required. I just started hotspot from the settings. I am on the grandfathered unlimited plan as well.

Verizon are a bunch of liars and crooks. Verizon tweaks nothing. They just make sure all their products and services work with the phone, that is all. I wouldn't pay $100 more for a phone that only has bloatware from Verizon. Not to mention Verizon phones are locked from factory now

It should work fine! I had the Note 8 (unlocked), S8+ (unlocked), and the S8 (unlocked). Hotspot worked great on all three! :)

Wrong! They don't say that! Whether they will accept it or not will be up to Samsung, but according to their guidelines it should be accepted!
