That's good for you ... Try to reduce resolution to 7.7MP affects no deference with 16MP max, raise jpg quality to 100 with no crash too?

Tell me more details ... what's your config? hdr+ jpg lvl? zsl shot or not?

Recommended setting for Mi5, Android 7 Super high config: Nexus 6P / Pixel 2XL Jpg comp. 100% Zsl config: Pixel 2017 zsl hdr+ / Pixel (Corr) Jpg comp. 100% hdr+ parameter high(tap preview less crashing) or very high (more crashes but better quality). Lens Blur still not working.

I think the latest one (5.11) with Pixel super high config.

For v 4.4.020 you can use 3.8d config (Library pixel xl (corr), hdr+ config pixel 2017 dogfood dr ... the rest remain pixel setting)
