I haven't got this issue. I just flashed 4 zips and it worked for me. I flashed the ROM, Open Gapps (pico), Magisk zip and "Disable Dm Verity ForceEncrypt". And I didn't wipe data, just wiped system and cache.

Don't you think that it's to much head ache to setup a rom? IMO, when you're creating and posting the rom, and saying that it's stable, this rom must be tested by you (or other testers) at least for two weeks. So, this rom is not good tested and it's not ready for daily use.

I've tried this rom and it's really raw. Seems like author just tried to create something that looks like M, but totaly forgot to make good working base. This firmware not for those, who want to setup it and be happy. You need to tune it from the beginning (no default ringtones are set). There...
