I was using the CM10 (9/24 release) from Hashcode and contributors. It is an outstanding ROM and everything mostly works (some Bluetooth things allegedly don't work and MMS I've had to make stable by using Go SMS Pro). I am using Safestrap 2.11.

I've seen this problem on other AOKP ROMs... how do I disable the AOKP Statistics notification that keeps popping up? Already ticked and unticked the report checkbox. I just cleared Settings data/cache so maybe that will change it. Also, how about we "kang" the lockscreen options from CM10...

I also bought an Asus Transformer after 6 months of happy Gtab use. It satiated all of the things I disliked about the Gtab. It is still in prime usage with my friend who uses it as a TV watching supplement and baby monitor (via IP Cam) with the dock. Long live the GTab!

Having run both, if you want a more stock experience use the AOSP rom i personally like the experimental better because it has the tablet friendly features of vegan.

Love this ROM, and can't wait for a beta. I don't do much but browse web and watch IP cam with baby.

I guess it depends on what sustainable means. With medium usage, are you plugging it in every day or every other day? Every 3rd or 4th day? Haven't been able to find any reliable battery stats for mixed usage, so I don't know what is good or not. That damn iPad has insane standby and usage...

What is good battery life for you or anybody using any ROM? I get about 3 days Max on Zpad 3.0 and all other roms much less. This rom was dead in about 24 hours when I first tried it. So fast though. I really wanted to keep it.

Yes Japanese IME keyboard and whatever that japanese character app is.. I don't read japanese (or Chinese) heck if I know. Cell related services murdered my battery so swapped out for now. Fast ROM though thanks for sharing.

Tried this for 24 hours, an liked everything but battery life was bad. Good clean responsive Rom though for being experimental.

It might be possible thru Bluetooth? That is if your laptop has Bluetooth. Otherwise I think you will need a small wifi router or something and setup ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).

Should debugging be on or off for this to work?

Ouch, I am glad I didn't send in the rebate yet... though it must be postmarked by 02/07 so I'm going to mail it out today. Did people who got in on the sears rebate, mail in their $10.50 with the rebate or is that a whole separate transaction? It's not mentioned anywhere in the rebate form.

My Gtab doesn't show up at all, but my rooted Droid 1 (I'm assuming) shows up three times! Unknown device from Verizon... 3 times over. So far I've sent apps to all three devices and received none. Some other "id" or identifier would be helpful for identifying which devices it thinks I have.

Thanks! I was looking all day for this. Funny it didn't show up in a simple google search... pretty much the equivalent of standing around yelling at the microwave though for not cooking your food fast enough.

I have the same "death sleep" issue, however it seems to happen very randomly and always after a considerable amount of time. I have tried every rom out there, but I'm currently testing the VEGAN/pershoot combo recommended here, but it still happened to me. For what its worth, I am a developer...
