If i remember correctly, Motorola posted that skip wont work anymore with 5.1

I tried to update my HD to kitkat today but after 50% it stops the phone restarts and it shows update failed ... i tried to clear cache, did a factory reset but the problem persists ... the phone is not rooted, and its running 4.1.2 EU retail (xt925) ... any ideas? :confused:

Yes i found a solution, but unfortunately i lost the original system so i had to delete CID and flash the china retail on the device

I tried to flash JB using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204715 ,i deleted the cid, flashed the kernel and when the phoned restarted it would not boot, it startes to boot, the moto logo appears, contact your provider appears with the logo and then nothing, the phone...

Can I use any other kernel with this rom? It seams this one is causing me camera problems

Try redownloading the update, wide data/cache and do a clean install

Had the same problem with my razr, draind the battery till the phone died, left the phone to charge (the phone was off) till it was 100%, draint it again and no problems after that

I figured what the problem was, as I use windows 7 I had to run RSD in compatibility mode for xp
