I have the S7500T model in australia of the galaxy ace plus, I have just had confirmation from my carrier there will be no update from gingerbread. Quite annoying as current CM roms will not work with (l) and (t) models. Heres the link to the conversation...

Both, when I flash custom 2.3.6 ROMS, I always have to restore my stock boot.img. There is obviously some differences in the models, just don't know how to make cm10 work as there is no kernel for me to use..?

I don't wanna look like I'm spamming, but my question seems to keep being over looked, I have the S7500T model, is there anyway I can get it working on my phone? the zip flashes fine, just on boot I see GT-S7500 then black screen.

My question is, I have S7500T. To flash custom ROMS I have been replacing the boot.img with my phones original and it works no problem.. I've tried flashing cyanogen mod but only get blank screen, I'm assuming the only way to get it working on the S7500T is if official update ever comes out...

Assuming you have CWM recovery installed, make a backup of your current stock ROM. This will create a backup on your SD card under " clockworkmod -> backup -> date " in this directory there will be a file called "boot.img" which you will need to copy and use to replace the "boot.img" in the ROM...

I've flashed many s7500 ROMS on my s7500T by replacing the kernel (boot.img) with the one that came with my phone.

I managed to flash a few different ROMS on my S7500T by doing a nandroid backup of my current boot.img, then copy it to the downloaded ROM zip file and flash... may also work on S7500L ?

I understand your view, no one wants their hard work "stolen".... But in his defense, the main page has been updated to give you FULL credit, I don't know why we can't all get along, the device your developing for is practically the same as our S7500.
