i don't believe it's due to CPU usage, because the video isn't being transcoded, and when I was looking at the CPU usage it was between 0-5%. It's a Core i5 2500K, with 16 GB of RAM, running Windows 10. And with the same videos, as soon as i manually downmixed the audio to 2.0, it played fine.

I've seen the same issue. For me, to reproduce it, touch the "Cast screen" quick setting, then touch "More settings". The extra space then appears when you pull down the notification/quick settings. I can make it go away by touching "Cast screen" again then touching "Done". My guess would be...

I've had the same problem before as well. I believe it's a problem with Chrome, and not the ROM, as I've had it happen on stock, and i've seen it happen on my wife's stock Note 3. Usually closing the tab and opening a new one works for me.

I still get stuck at "Obtaining IP Address" when using DHCP on my work wireless network. Works fine at home (with DHCP), and it works once I switch it to static IP.

there are some settings (SMS split) which I believe will split the message for you, rather than letting your carrier handle it (and from what I understand, some don't support it). Maybe try turning that option on and see if that helps?

it looks essentially the same as the stock MMS.apk, but when you go to Settings, you have the option of changing the background to black, and changing the font size, etc.

i'm pretty sure you have to be rooted to use this, as i don't think you can get at the Mms.apk when your phone isn't rooted. i could be wrong on that. anyone else know for sure?

The Cyanogen MMS is more configurable. You can toggle between the standard white background and black background, you can change the font size, SMS split options, change the attachment save folder, custom user agent and other things.

i grabbed the latest code for Mms from the cyanogen project on github, and i just replaced the stock Mms source with the one from cyanogen in the android source. i then compiled it, tested it on my phone, and it worked!
