I do not know exactly what it does but I know that it works now ... if you want to try to install it I think you do not create problems, at most then uninstall it... if you have already gcam working, but front camera not working, try it.

guys the front camera fix is the no api version for gcam on miui eu stable v10.2.3.0 ? that in first page ? for me this method not working... I'm on eu stable v10.2.3.0 I replaced camera.sdm660.so in vendor>lib>hw with es file manager with root permissions then I edited buld.prop adding HAL3...

I've been asking this question for 6 months, that is since I bought the phone! LOL

mi note 3 codename is "jason" and gcam can record max 45 fps at 1080p (checked with mediainfo app) but snapdragon camera can record 120 fps at 1080p... I don't know why... :confused::o

yes I know, but I tried... I uninstalled this version and install your last version in first page (miui version magisk package) and working but no AI mode and 60fps 1080p and other feature that have in v1.0 rc7... anyway thanks if you support also mi note 3 ! :good:;)

Hello guys and thanks, I have installed all , but the videos are very dark ... Why ? p.s. I also tried to record yes to 30 that at 60fps but using mediainfo to see the details of the file is a variable framerate but always at 30 fps with fps maximums around 40 ... how can you solve? I tried...
