Download the official drivers from the LG website and it should work, also try different USB ports on your pc. I think installing the drivers fixed my issue.

Here is the 1GHz kernel from 4pda. I don't know if this kernel works only on the E612 or the E610 as well, but it's 00:40 and I'm tired so i won't be testing on my E610 right this second. Can others test please?

Can anybody with an app like root explorer get me their settings.db from /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db ? I would like a completely untouched copy of the file, straight from your phone, so I can push it to my phone via adb and see if I can get my phone to boot...

    Post LG Optimus L5 E610

After seeing the logcat for my phone booting, I can be sure that settings.db is messed up. As a result, I think I must wipe the /data partition (factory reset) which I can do with adb. However I need to be able to run adb shell in root, and because I've flashed the phone using KDZ then it isn't...

    Post LG Optimus L5 E610

I've tried restoring using KDZ many many times, and an adb logcat shows that there is something wrong with the settings.db at /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db This is causing a huge number of boot errors So now what?

Can't Reset I was forced to reset my LG E610 using the KDZ tool, because i messed up some system apps that i shouldnt have. Now, the home button is only partly functional. THIS IS NOT A HARDWARE ISSUE. i can wake the phone from sleep using the home button, and thats it. It doesnt actually...

We now NEED a custom recovery for this device. I'll see if i can compile one, but dont cross your fingers. I am an amateur xP so, list of things to do: 1. CWM Recovery 2. Custom Kernel 3. Custom Rom the only thing that could possibly have more priority than #1 is getting a forum for this...

Post [GUIDE] Install Google Wallet on any Device and ALL Countries

It has got root permissions, and I batch defrosted every app on the phone to make sure that it was defrosted, to no avail. The app still doesn't show up :/ Are there any other methods I can try?

    Post LG Optimus L5 E610

Not sure if it's just me, but this root method seems to completely bork bluetooth. I can't turn it on, using settings then settings force closes, and trying to turn it on using the status bar toggles force closes SystemUI... hmm

Post [Q] Which is faster ICS or Jelly Bean?

Because of the way that Jelly Bean uses to be faster than Ice Cream Sandwich, it requires a pretty beefy CPU, which the wildfire doesn't have. It would be nice to see CM10 or even any kind of Jelly Bean port on the Wildfire but I doubt it will happen, and even if it does I don't think it'll be...

Post Which One Should I Buy ? WIldfire or Wildifre S

As amazing as the developer support for the Wildfire is, i would recommend the wildfire S. If possible, get something even better, like the desire or the desire s. Post Any Europeans received the update?

can i just say, custom roms account for some of that 64%, and i know for certain that there are phones out there which perform so well on 2.3.x and so badly on 4.0.x that there would be no point in updating them, as it would be unusable anyways. And also, a large cause of upgrade issues...

    Post Whats next....?

There will always be a new version of android for Wildfire, because the devs will keep working at it until the hardware gives out :P And when it does, they'll switch their focus to working on improving the version of android the Wildfire tops out at, so we'll eventually end up with a rom thats...

Post What I like about being rooted and having CM7

im having MAJOR problems with overclock. Using both setCPU and the built in cyanogenmod, it starts randomly rebooting. It also reboots after changing either the minimum frequency or the maximum. You cant do both, without it rebooting. Its a real pain in the ass.
