Post Hacking the Boxee Box (Violates GPL)

Aside from the (sometimes) lacking ability to shut down via remote, I have had no real issues with my Boxee Boxes (I have two). I'm running the most current (non-beta) firmware, and use them to stream netflix as well as various media on my NAS. Although I'd love for this to be fully opened up...

    Post [ROM-JB][OC/UV] CvD-Nibbles 1.6 ~ Custom Kernel ~ GAPPS (Updated: 1/5/13) [TEAM ROOK]

I guess I should also report that the Pandora-Mode on my JVC works with this rom. (Get in the car, phone auto-connects via Bluetooth, Pandora starts - turn car off, Pandora pauses.) Will your installer allow an upgrade to 1.2 without wiping anything? (I know the option exists, but do things...

Ok, so an entire day of running your 1.1.2 version, and I can report that the Bluetooth is fully functional! I do still have complaints of people on the other end of a call hearing themselves echo - modem issue? Also, what settings are suggested to get the best battery life out of this rom...

Anyone confirm functional a2dp? I use Pandora daily in my car, and that's a deal breaker for me. I've tried a few JB roms, but they were early ones, and none of them would stream audio. I'm still running ICS because the Bluetooth works flawlessly. From the sounds of this rom, I'll love it...

Post [ROM] Majick Wizz R3 (08/30/12)

Ok then, what's with the LCD density limit? The size of the keyboard (Swype) while in landscape is driving me crazy! Is there a fix for this? Maybe a modified phone app? I've searched, but all I've found is the incorrect reference to the bug being only on aokp. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727...

Post [ROM] Majick Wizz R3 (08/30/12)

This is the first AOKP I've ran as a daily driver. It took me 5 flashes (with restoring TiBu app backups and configuring it how I want it) before I realized what was causing my com.android.phone to FC everytime I tried to use my phone as a phone... Just so you know - Setting your pixel density...

Post Launcher Pro crashes with ICS

I've been using LPP for years now, and I love some of the features... Now that I'm on ICS, I really miss the calendar widget (since it is the FC culprit). My question is - do any of these other launchers have the following features: Swipe gesture on the dock icons - I use this to show...

Post [ROM] // NexusMod ICS 2 Zero // [RETIRED]

I'm looking at a Toyota Venza (2008 - 2011) and without cutting the dash, I see no way to install a single/double din. Not to mention that Toyota routes all of their on-board computer controls through the stock stereo. I was able to stream music on the 2012 model that has nTune, but those are...

I've never been a fan on combining my email contacts with my phone contacts. I installed MyBackup, but ended up simply using the import/export feature of the default contacts app. It created a .vcf on my sdcard, and I was easily able to import it back once I restored this rom. ---------- Post...

    Post [ROM]SKY ICS--- 4.2D-10 (5/7/12) amazing battery, and super-fast!! 60FPS !!!!

I flashed this rom last night, and had a major issue. I thought that somehow my SIM was wiped clean of all my contacts. Nothing I did would show ANY contacts (google/sim/phone). Even after installing DW Contacts/Dialer - still no contacts... I restored my backup of my previous GB rom and...

    Post [ROM][UCLC4 4.0.3] // NexusMod ICS // "AOSP" ICS / Touch of Wiz / (4/16)

So I've been running this rom for a while now (and love it). I just attempted to email myself a picture (using the gmail app) and the phone rebooted. After it rebooted, it got stuck in a bootloop. Since I have backups from a few days ago, I simply tried to restore a backup, but it didn't work...

I flashed last night... Shortly after, I decided to flash the goodies zip, and that didn't end well. It would boot, but kept getting errors that prevented me from doing anything. I was too tired to mess with it, so I restored and passed out. I will try again today, but wanted to know if...

Post Changing LCD Density with ROM Toolbox, what are you setting it to?

160 LCD Density Modder Pro I run Launcher Pro, and it works just fine with 160. I've been running 160 for quite some time now, and even had to manually fix "market" for the "device not supported" message. Then the dev of the app included a patch process that just made it so simple. It...

Well, I just attempted to flash it (without wiping first) and got stuck in a boot loop. Any suggestions? EDIT: As I let it attempt to boot several times, it seems to get a little further into the boot animation. I've now seen just a little bit of blue swirls behind the earth.

    Post Homemade Tablet? An Idea.

Not that I prefer it over the Android OS, but there's always WebOS (now open-source) by HP. I have many co-workers that picked up their tablets, and they pretty much all put Android on it, but the stock WebOS may just be what you're looking for. Have you looked into it at all?
